♨️Hi Steemit - Introducing Myself♨️
Hello, I'm K S Rathore @digitalfortress. I work as a Business developer for browser based push notification services. Digital Fortress was a very good novel written by author Dan Brown and i liked the name so much that i have adopted it as my pen name, I also enjoy watching Game of Thrones, Genius and other featured TV Series . My brother introduced me to SteemIt, prior to writing on SteemIt I was thinking of starting a news blog for passive income. I came to know that SteemIt rewards the content creators and so i started posting on it, but i was also not aware of the importance of creating an #intoduceyourself or #introducemyself post for a brief introduction about myself to the community. As a person i like - reading books, playing any outdoor game, eating healthy and a light workout to stay in shape. The last book i read was "Animal Farm" - by George Orwell its a small and a very well written satire on politics. My fundamental knowledge about crypto - currencies, economy, governments and banking is very limited and i would love to discuss, learn and connect with people and about them.
My post on SteemIt would include anything interesting that i come across, people, places, news, digital media, marketing or whatever stuff that i find is useful and feel that i should share the same with the SteemIt community

I know that steemit may seem very overwhelming to you right now but don't worry. There's a learning curve to everything so just be patient and you'll be churning out posts and becoming a part of something great in no time!

I will also be creating a basic starting out guide for all minnows and newcomers on my blog so do give it a read as that might help answer many of your questions!

Here a few tips for starters snce you probably won't get any advice from those who comment under here, here's what I gathered thus far.
It's tough to make money at first so if that's your main cause to be on here grind that into your head straight away, that doesn't mean you shouldn't post content, you should, but enganging with others in the comment sections to grow your following is your best bet. Which categories?
Probably the introduce yourself one and the photography section but you can choose things that you have knowledge about too and then go from there just know that there is a lot of crap on here so plowing through that just to connect with others can be tough. Cheers.
That's a great piece of advice since i have been struggling to connect with the right people. I also do not get notified when somebody follows me and i cannot find my posts even if i search the entire post title in Steemit search do you know why? Btw thank you for welcoming.
Hm, that's odd I never had those problem but maybe because you are new the system might take some time before it shows your posts in the search bar but I really don't know sorry. As for no notifications I think thats normal I dont get em either ^^
You may also like Mark Twains first novel and only collaboration The Gilded Age. A satirical look on post civil war American politics. Twain is my favorite author with his supreme wit and humor.
Sure would love to read that book. I have downloaded the book. I will get back to you once i finished reading it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Will do. I'd suggest checking out steem.stats as well. Here you'll be able to see your voting power and other stats.
@authenticbeatz Your last suggestion was a web link of dsound.audio , the new one steem.stats is a query it takes me to google search where there is no website by this domain name.
I meant steemstats.com sorry about that. Both sites are steemit apps
