A quick moment to migrate about a dozen WordPress installs.
It's a bit nostalgic really. I used to do a ton of server and site work and now I almost never do any. I am happy to say that "muscle memory" is seemingly intact, lol.
The domain names have finally finished transferring over to the new host service and now I can migrate the Wordpress installs. I have 5 domains and one of them, diggndeeper.com has at least a dozen subdomains, each with Wordpress installed and a few of those subdomains have multiple Wordpress or stuff like NextCloud.
Then I have to install SSL certs on each domain and subdomain and finally set up email accounts for everyone going through the domains.
Of course while I was waiting for the domain names to transfer, I REALLY wanted to work on my sites, but resisted because I couldn't know when the transfers would happen and I would lose any updates, so now I am anxious to get it on again.
Anyway, this will certainly take a few hours. It kind of makes me want to start taking on some website clients again. I do kind of like doing this kind of work and I'm reasonably competent at it. Some day I might to an article or video about my ArchLinux virtual servers that I love so much and that could probably be rather helpful to some people out there.
If I get it done in time, I will finish editing my next post and get it published, but this is my way of saying that may not happen.

I should get off my lazy butt and get my own website at some point.
If you want it hosted, I highly recommend Hostinger. I actually enjoy messing with the things.
I hope you get to it. I'd like to see what you put out.
Any suggestions for tools to use in a web store?
WooCommerce is the most popular and supported platform out there, especially for Wordpress. If you are going that route, look around for a compatible theme for it too. Most themes on Wordpress are actually compatible with it, but some more than others. There are a lot of reviews and stuff to help you make a pretty quick and reliable decision.
Also, make sure you get a SSL certificate for your site if you build a store and Really Simple SSL is an awesome and super simple plugin for SSL.
