You have probably heard that herbal tea is supposed to help you sleep. But what kinds are best for making you sleepy? Chamomile tea has long been used to treat sleeping disorders.

Researchers believe that its soothing effect is probably due to the flavonoid apigenin, a secondary metabolite. Lavender, valerian and mint teas are also known to relax the body.

But don’t drink black tea or green tea right before bed because they are stimulants and will keep you awake.

I love camomile tea , really relaxes me after a hard day at work.

yeah.. me too. my wife always make it for me when i coming back home from work

I'll like to make my own tea with:

a piece of ginger
2 or 3 pieces of star anise
1 or 2 pieces of cinnamon stick
1 or 2 teaspoon of honey
Maybe if you like some mint leaves for a fresh taste.

Put everything in a pot besides the honey. Let it rest for a couple of minutes. Add the honey with some lemon juice if you like.

Its healthy and delicious ;)
