Food Hunting: One of our favorite takeaway, Smoked beef & cheese crêpe. So parfaite!
Hello, foodies!
There are many varieties of food here in Indonesia, some maybe main dish, but some are snack or appetizers. We could eat it outside or for some food stalls which doesn't have the dining area, we could take it away. Like one of the food i would like talk about, it is crêpe, a thin pancake came from France. I don't know whether the taste of the crêpe here same with in France or not, but crêpe is popular here and i think the taste has already adapted with Indonesian.
One of the most popular crêpe here in Indonesia named d'crepes. The nearest outlet we went was located on LG floor, Blok M Plaza - South Jakarta. Cause it is so popular, there is also another outlet at 6th floor, near the cinema, with a small dining area.
The food stall was not too large, and always has customers. Even some were foreigners.
They hanged the menu on their back.
We bought our favorite menu here, my mom and i have the same taste, we love their smoked beef and cheese crêpe.
After ordered, paid and got the order number, then we waited to get the order.
The waitress made our order, she made the crepe first then put all the ingredients (smoked beef, mayonaise, tomato sauce, cheese, and lettuce). Then she wrapped it.
Mom picked up our takeaway at the pick up area.
What made special was their plastic bag which envorinment friendly, it made from cassava and would regradable soon.
We then opened and ate our take away and here how our smoked beef and cheese crêpe looked like
The crêpe was so crunchy, the taste inside was savory with the smoked beef, cheese and also a bit sour and savory from the tomato sauce. Delicieuse!
For two crêpes we paid 40,000 IDR or around 2.86 USD.
