Some people believe that everything in our life is predetermined and that we are only playing out our life in accordance to a predetermined script, details of which we do not know.
There are others who believe that we have complete freedom to chart our lives as we deem fit and fate or destiny plays no part in it.
Yet there are others who believe that destiny and free will coexist because part of our life like the family we are born into, the place of our birth and our gender are destined but for the other aspects of lives we are at complete liberty to do as we please.

If you born with multiple disabilities, like me, your free will become partly restricted at least for a part of your life. With Autism Spectrum Disorder, I can't communicate normally/properly personally with people. Or at least I could not do it normally/properly in the past. I think my condition on this is somewhat improved in the near past. But to be honest, I still don't being among a lot of people. Or being among people at all and communicate with them. I like/love animals much more.
With dyscalculia, I can't calculate in head. I am visually impaired. I was born with ROP (Retinopathy of Prematurity), and I have myopia (short-sightedness/nearsightedness), visual field defect, dyschromatopsia (disorder of color vision). My optic nerves are not fully developed and as far as I know, there is no cure for my visual impairment, because it is congenital. So it is permanent and I could even go blind over time, if my condition gets worse, but it has been stable for the last few years and I am glad for that!
If I take off my glasses, I could not read the text on the monitor easily. I have to look very closely, so the glasses are helping me a lot!
I am already watching the monitor closely. I don't know what will happen in the future.
With these disabilities, your life (at least partly) can be "predetermined script", but it is surely "details of which we (or at least I) do not know".
Wow, that is a long list, my dear friend, @xplosive. I don't know what I will do if I have those disabilities. I complain a lot even when I have some minor problems.

I am receiving a low pension-like monthly income, which is currently (nowadays) 68 480 HUF, which is currently (2018.12.23, 13:35 CET) only $243.15 USD, because $1 USD is currently 281.64 HUF.
I currently also work in a part-time (4 hours) job since 2018 November 6.

Yes, and the job is also good. It is very easy actually, and the money from the job helps me to save some money monthly.

Believe me, I am trying. According to my Steemit profile, my estimated curation rewards last week is 0.176 Steem Power, and my estimated author rewards last week is 5.319 Steem Power, 5.260 Steem, and $0.008 SBD.
But my upvote still doesn't worth a single cent ($0.01).

@mazzle recommended it to me on that day, and Musing is quickly became one of my favorite dApps. Nowadays most of my Steem income is coming from Musing. I am trying to use it almost every day. I am mostly answering questions on Musing. My other favorites are Busy and dPoll.

Yes, I have had similar experiences when I was younger. Now I don't. Perhaps I have lost the ability. Not sensitive anymore, battery getting weaker!!!

Hmm, I understand where you are coming from. I was just like you till one day I had my Indian Palm Leaf Manuscript read to me by a complete stranger from India. That changed my perspective completely. Imagine a complete stranger reading out from the manuscript full details of your bio data including your date of birth, time of birth, place of birth and many other personal details including even some secrets only you know!

If there is only free will and no destiny, how would you explain the different circumstances and conditions of each birth (nationality, race, family, financial status of family, congenital defects etc.). Why are some people better off than others by virtue of these circumstances and conditions starting from birth?
