The True spirit of Christmas
As the year draws to a close, you get to see people around the world gearing up to celebrate one of the most joyous and festive holidays of the year. Do you know that Christmas is a time for love, giving and togetherness. Christmas seems to be the only holiday that brings people together, transcending cultures, languages and geographical boundaries.
Something baffles me,we have all forgotten or should I say we have all derailed and lost sight of what Christmas is really all about. But in this my write up,I will be giving us insight of the true spirit of Christmas and how we can celebrate it in a way that's meaningful, authentic and fulfilling.
As we all know today, Christmas happens to be a holiday that commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ. But the tradition and culture that is associated with Christmas have really evolved over time.
True spirit of Christmas
At it's highest, Christmas embodies a holiday that's all about love, kindness and generosity. It's also a time to come together with family and friends to share in the joy and spirit of the season as well as to show appreciation and gratitude to the people and the things that matters most in our lives.
▶️ Focus on the things that truely matter
Instead of getting caught up in the materialism of the holiday season, instead focus on the things that truly bring you Joy and fulfilment.
▶️ Spend quality time with loved ones
Christmas is that time of the year to connect with family and friends so as to share in the joy and spirit of the season and also to create lasting memories.
▶️ Give back to others
Christmas is a time for giving, and one of the best way to celebrate it is by giving back to others.
▶️ Take time to reflect and recharge
Yes Christmas can be busy and overwhelming, take out time to take a step back and reflect on the past year, and recharge for the year ahead.
In conclusion,I believe by focusing on the true spirit of Christmas, and celebrating the holiday in a way that's meaningful and authentic,we can create a more joyful, loving, and fulfilling holiday season for ourselves and those around us.
