Progress of a painting - "Silent Scream"

Welcome friends to another progress documentation, this time about my 2014 painting "Silent Scream".
This piece was a commission from one of my collectors. He came to me with the idea of a meditating woman and a painting which should show what goes on in her calm mind. I liked the idea more of being calm on the outside and simultaniously raging in the inside. So this is how this collaborative idea turned out.
I started very loose at first and put in all the elements one after another as you can see. This painting is a very good example of how my paintings come to life. One step after the other into the unknown.
Have fun...the painting took about 4 weeks to complete.
my goodness! I can't imagine how many different threads your brain has to run in order to keep track of all the elements and composition, stunning work!
