Syria, I have a friend there on the ground, name Tom Duggan, I have his permission to link his material to steemit.
I am going to cover Syria via my independent journalist friend, on the ground IN Syria.
Let's get copyright out of the way off the bat, I just talked to him via farcebook and he gave me full permission to use any and all of his material on here or anywhere else I choose to, see below.
I was trying to get him on here, though he has limited internet, and time, as he travels around the whole country, I am also going to donate some money to his cause of getting new cameras, bullet proof vests, medical equipment etc.
I just offered to send money, and this was the reply, any of you on here can also help if you like.
He has made a video message on his phone regarding the so called chemical attack, and due to the slow nature of the internet over there, it is going to take a while to upload, so allow me to introduce you to him in this video for now.
I hope some of you would like to know the truth on the ground from Syria direct, not from the lamestream corporate media whores.
I look forward to bringing you a lot more information direct, including some interviews I will be doing with him soon.

He was reaching out for some new equipment, bullet proof vests, hard hats and stuff, so I decided to help.
well if you have means to convert sbd to currency to help with the equipment or anything else he needs I will gladly send some over to you ?
lyndsaybowes suggested I do a fund raiser post, which I will do tomorrow, at this moment I would say hold back with that very kind thought, as I am in contact with Tom at the moment trying to work out how we can do this, it is very complicated as they have sanctions in place via the USA, so equipment there costs 4 times as much, we are working a solution out where he gets friends to bring the equipment over the border. You are amazing, you know that gal.
