ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION # 4 (Recycling Newspaper) "Newspaper Hat"

Hi friends, we continue with recycling to help avoid the problem of environmental pollution. It is important to reuse all kinds of material that we find in class or at home; today I bring a beautiful work of art made with recycled newspaper.

To make objects with newspaper recycling, it is an art that is a precious element of decoration to decorate and decorate walls, and to be able to use it in summer to protect it from the radiant sun.

The technique of wrapping with recycled paper is an excellent proposal to reuse newspapers and magazines and transform them into another element of greater added value.

Newspaper Hat

Materials:
Diary paper
glue for paper or glue
bowl of the head of a head
Scissors
Acrylic paint
Spray varnish

How to do it?

  • Wrap newspaper paper at a 45 ° angle so it can be longer, glue each roll

  • Begin the spinning by making a cross with 8 long strips, cross 4 rolls and 4 others.

  • Tie the center of the cross with another strip of paper rolling in several turns and striking.

  • Once we have the center together, we open the 8 branches (strips) and we begin to weave passing the strips of paper above and below each strut.

  • Using a bowl face down we follow the shape of it on the fabric.

  • We continue knitting the wing of the hat until finished.

  • We paint with acrylic the desired color and decorate with dried flowers and ribbons.
