We left the refuge with more illusions than hopes, we walked and explored for 7 days in a row without any significant findings to prove the existence of other survivors besides ourselves.

The dawn of the eighth day arrived and brought with it new news, during an exploratory round by the river.
@luisquero spotted what seemed to be a ship of some kind that fell from the sky and quickly informed us of what had happened, we went to the place instantly to investigate what it was about. It was a kind of mini boat or spacecraft not very spacious, which we had never seen before, ideal to be operated by a person of average size. In it we did not find any trace of its origin, nor was there any kind of sign that indicated if any known life form traveled in it. The only thing that was certain was that it had only happened a few minutes ago and most likely it is that whatever arrived on that ship was still nearby.

We split up into pairs to cover more land and agreed to meet again at the site of the find, the search lasted 6 hours and we found no revealing evidence. We met on the road a stretch before arriving at the agreed place, as we walked we exchanged information from the search and as we approached the site of the find we were paralyzed perplexed as we contemplated what was in front of us.

In front of the nave that we later called "the coffin", a tall man with pale complexion and light blonde hair stood with a cape attached to a hood that hung on his back and a heavy-looking rucksack on the floor beside him, he looked at the ship with a lot of curiosity.

We approached with care because we didn't know who that man might be or what his intentions were, he stood impassively before "the coffin" and without turning his face or looking at us, he said:"Did you come to this? he asked, pointing to "the coffin," no one responded, we all looked at each other in the face bewildered by his sudden question and then we tried to assimilate the situation, I answered "we intended to ask you the same question," then the stranger turned and made eye contact with the group, smiled and said,"Well. Nice to meet you, I'm @erodedthoughts and in a way I'm responsible for what's happened to the world."

We are all shocked by such statements, in our search for survivors we find not only one, but he also claimed to be partially responsible for the total desolation of the planet. Obviously we asked for explanations, we had a lot of questions in our minds and @eroded thoughts didn't put up any resistance to dissipate them, we went to the place where we camped the night before and offered him food and a safe place to sleep, set fire, Leonardo found up wine and started listening to the story of @eroded pensarts.

He told us that he had a kind of gift that allowed him to see things that would happen in the future.
