ColorChallenge: ThursdayGreen- Taxi (& basic tips)

Hello everyone! This photo of a green taxi was taken at Ekamai Bus Terminal in Bangkok, Thailand.
Like all capital cities or cities all over the world "taxi" or cab is one common mode of transportation in Bangkok (besides the excellent BTS&MRT, motorcycles, 'tuk-tuk', ubers & grabs).
You can see different bright colored taxis in Bangkok (some pink, orange, yellow, red, etc.). Color differs by taxi company.
Being a foreigner who doesn't know how to speak well the Thai language (like me) it's important to study your route and plot it in google map ahead. You can show it to the driver whenever you find necessary, and also for your own reference. It's also a way of letting the driver know, "Hey, just so you know, I'll be monitoring the trip..." without being obvious.
Sometimes the driver still won't get where you want to go (yes, that can happen). Sometimes they don't say a thing but end up sending you to a different place! (yes, this can happen too). But, not a big problem in Bangkok, just as long as you have some money for fare, transportations are everywhere.
However, in emergency situations, it helps a lot if you know or you have a friend who speaks Thai, you can call your friend and ask him/her to speak to the driver for you.
