The Adventures of BitCoin Girl : Chapter 2. Caught off Guard

in #story6 years ago (edited)

What started out as a innocent and friendly chat, turned into something much worse.

Carefully waiting for her moment, Naomi watched as the Llama skipped back and forth around the room. 'He sure has a lot of energy', Naomi thought as she kept look for the right time to strike. The Llama's jovial mood and actions could be seen as playful, but Naomi had known disappointment and was wary of things that seemed right, but later were just blew apart.

As the grin turn to a more serious look, Naomi saw her opportunity approaching. 'Skip. Stop. Skip, skip'. The Llama's seemingly random chaotic movements did have a pattern and he was coming around again to be in front of the Bucket. Naomi tighten her grip on the handle and moved her right leg forward to form a more secure shooting stance. Her eyes darted back and forth from the Bucket to the Llama, hoping that neither would notice her change in mood. The approaching llama made his skip and that's when Naomi made her move. In one aggressive action she pulled her weapon, lifted it up and pulled the trigger.

The sound of the gunfire in the chat room was deafening, but the scream from the Llama was louder. The high pitched cry was only overshadowed by the metal collision of the bullet hitting the Bucket right above the right eye hole. The ping was silenced by a larger bang as the Bucket's head slammed against the concrete wall. Naomi watched as the Bucket slowly slid down the wall like a limp stuffed toy stained with blood spurting out the open holes. As the Bucket slouched over into his final destination with a metallic thud as his head hit the floor, Naomi glanced closer to her at the Llama laying on the floor.

The bullet had not killed it, but it was severely wounded. Having eased through the Llama's long neck, it had severed his spine, but not finished the job. The Llama was thrashing its legs around on the floor, more of spasm than an effort to get up, but Naomi need to be sure. She took a few step closer, so that she was almost standing over the wounded beast. She now grasped the gun with both hands and steadily raised in an angle to send its projectile straight to the skull of the animal and pulled the trigger. Another deafening roar was heard, but not like the last. 'Snake shot! Shit!', Naomi looked in disgust at the results. The smaller shot had only ripped off portions of the face of the Llama and now its high pitched scream was louder, yet different. The torn apart lips and teeth gave off a flapping noise as he screamed that seemed almost comical.

Naomi raised the gun up again, knowing that the next round would be more lethal. She had been told to alternate rounds. Bullet, shot, bullet. 'This one should end him.' she thought in a mercifully, yet slightly sinister way. As the room began to smell more of burnt fur and piss, Naomi carefully squeezed the trigger sending the Llama's slightly raised head crashing into the floor. The sound of skull cracking on cement made Naomi flinch a little, but then she composed herself and gave out a deep sigh, releasing any last tension she had held in her neck.

But, she wasn't done, there was another in the room. Naomi glanced up quickly at the Crazy Man and was shocked to see that he hadn't moved. She was relieved that he was still there, but now she felt uneasy as she wondered why he hadn't ran or at least changed his stance. Looking into his eyes, the huntress began to feel like prey again. It was hard to read what he was thinking, because she couldn't tell if he was looking at her or somewhere else in the room. His glaze was as disjointed as any freak show performer and this made Naomi feel a little sick to her stomach, yet curious. She lifted her gun and started to move slowly to the corner that the Crazy Man was standing in. And then he started to speak, but he wasn't speaking, it was not his voice, but it was a familiar voice. It was her Nan!

Naomi froze with fear, as she felt that her actions were slowly not becoming her own. With just a glance from his offset eyes, the Crazy Man convinced her to put her pistol way. She started to move forward, when he slightly lifted his chin, and now her empty hands began to tremble. As she got closer the room felt like it was changing, the lights seemed dimmer and the smell of carnage gave way to a musky smell of old man and leather. Naomi didn't know whether to be repulsed or aroused, she was beginning to feel light headed.

The Crazy Man raised his hand and then his mouth opened, 'I like red, but pink is also nice. It is red, but somewhat lighter. Put this on and sing me a song. Something poppy, that will be catchy and fun.' Naomi looked into his hand and saw a bright pink dress and wig. She felt frightened, amused and intrigued.

Nice. This makes me want to read Part 1.

I am unsure of how to read this. But were any llamas hurt in this? I would really be bummed if I knew there was a llama hurt in all of this cyber space punked out pink hair poetry to bitcoin. In the meantime, more than all this @deanlogic, I would like to know how you got that cool "footer" at the bottom with a tuning fork hooked to your aura and your flashy gif. This is obviously celebrity kind of technology - something us mere mortals may be incapable of understanding - but, if you could enlighten and delight on "how to" create an aura footer such as yours, I'd be so happy. Thank you in advance. And again, please tell me that no llamas were hurt in the filming of the balloon popping tinder dating gif. :) . Fortunenic

Stay tune to find out what happens to the Llama and the Bucket...

I keep a footer code text so that I can copy and paste it at the end of my articles.

The tuning fork was something I created after the last HF, last year. It was meant to help minnows out, I don't think it worked as intended.

The badges were copies from badges that other people make for you if you use a certain hashtag. I did tip the original designer before I made my own.

This is my belief about Bots here on Steemit. You can right click and use the image URL for your own footer, if you feel the same.
