CryptoWars Alpha Release!

Time to Start Playing for Crypto!

About three months ago @dragosroua posted the article, CryptoWars Is Coming To Life - First Status Update. CryptoWars is an on-line game where you can use and earn cryptocurrency that can be transferred into the real world.

Experimental (e11) is the coin behind CryptoWars and possibly other "experiments" in the future. Don't look for e11 on the indexes, it isn't there. e11 was on pre-sale for 1 ETH or 10 ETH per investor last year and I am guessing you won't see it on the exchanges until after they go live with CryptoWars. I'm honestly not sure how that works.

There isn't a lot in their FAQ.

Why is the first experiment a game?

A game is a clear demonstration of how the blockchain could be applied to all industries and not only to finance. Our team has the right skills to build a high-quality game. It gets the attention of the audience and helps with awareness for Experimental.

So, what do we know, well they made a blog post and a Twitter tweet.

In the link blog post on Mashable. They mention what you can do in the Alpha release.

But… let’s get to it! in this release, users will be able to:

• Create a village (choose a great name!)
• Build your city center, gold and crystal mine, and storage.
• Mine resources (start earning gold and crystal)
• Upgrade your buildings to earn more resources

So, basically, those who get into the alpha can build and mine and build and mine. Later, they will be able to ransack other people in the world.

We know the fun part is yet to come, you all want to build barracks to summon your army and attack your friends to steal their e11 — we’re working hard and soon this will be a reality.

In order to play, you need to install MetaMask on your browser, so that you won't lose your Ethereum tokens. Here is a video on how MetaMask works.

Right now, I am playing SteemNova, which is a text-based game that I can play in my browser. Part of @steemnova's plan is to provide payouts and rewards. I am wondering what we could do to get something like MetaMask fro Steem.

Anyway, I'm not sure if I'll jump on the Alpha train to play this, because everything is just pretend. But, to play around with the Alpha release you must be one of the 300 collaborators on the pre-sale. The cost of that is 1 ETH, which is around $900 right now. From what it looks like, the pre-sale is still open.
