WHY I LOVE YOUR FATHER...who saw it coming!
SEXUAL ABUSE!!!
Yes! It s true that women seem to be the most vulnerable to this crime. A guy will just see a lady well packaged and coming to his eyes - he hits the girl, the girl refuses then he goes along to play the scene in his mind, the next is:- when he executes the plan. Not that he plays the game alone-it became the gang experience. OH THE WOMAN NATURE, WHY THE INJUSTICE?
Let's consider if this guy is the victim of the same crime HOMOSEXUALITY, would he suffer the same fate of the girl he harassed? No! He would bath himself in courage and play innocent. It is true that the men are strong. WHAT DID THE WOMEN DO TO NATURE?
A piece of flesh covered with strands of hair, long and almost knife-like, torn hymen, stained with blood. She cried and shed tears of blood not only for the pain but for the shame.
This men left her, spitting in her face and laughing like hyenas.
Don't they know how hard life is? Chika kept grumbling, using the end of her wrapper to swat the flies away. Look what the fate of a first born is - Chika is the first child with seven younger siblings. Her father ran off when she was just 11. Now she's 20, and she is no stranger to trade. Simbi and Halimas's story is quite similar except for the fact that their own fathers never really cared from the onset, except in baby-making. WHAT A CRUEL LIFE.

LUCKY DUBE sang a song titled-GOD BLESS THE WOMEN. This is a lyric from the song;
"She prayed for her children,
she prayed for their education,
she prayed for the man that left her with the children"
we, praise heroes everyday,
But they are those that we forget to praise-The WOMEN of this world
God bless the women!!!"
HOW DID IT HAPPEN
It was another stressful market day. As chill as the evening was, Chika couldn't exactly state the place of rest neither could she tell exactly how tiredness had its way with her. Was it her legs that had trekked several miles or the hands that carried baskets and baskets of harvests? Or the voice, screaming convincing arguments at the city people? The almond tree. She had taken refuge under the tree which was in full support, swaying its leaves and luring sleep on, sleep on.
Though her stomach screamed of hunger, tired of working with no fuel. But then, she was not new to this kind of hard work. She lived for hard work. Without this how would she provide for her younger ones?
Ade, the hit man together with his friends had to be tracking them all day so they don't miss them this time around. Chika hissed and rolled her eyes the moment she saw him making crude remarks about her b-word. Heading straight for them, under the almond tree, were the young hunters whose kiosk was directly beside theirs. They had just finished washing in the stream at the back of the market kiosks. They would make wolfish noises every time they passed on the way to the market. Their village was just beside Chikas'.
Early that evening at the stream, Ade's group approached and Chika's friends began to whisper. Simbi nudged Chika and she knew what it meant. Sit properly and adjust your wrapper, it's mating season(said Halima). She didn't budge at all but maintained her carefree position with her legs sprawled in different directions on the mat they did lay.
Thank God that naughty one isn't among them-said Chika.
"So they've finally summoned courage?"- Halima said.
Ssssh! They can hear you!" Simbi hissed and flashed a toothy smile at the approaching men.
Within minutes, after shy hesitant greetings, each man approached the girl of his choice. The three of them avoided Chika like a plague and went for Simbi and Halima.
Soon, it was time to leave and they all gathered their baskets. Walking in twos, they all pretended like Chika didn't exist and in time, she was left alone at the back with thoughts rolling her mind. The road they followed was that which lead to Chika's village and it was a long one so she decided to count her day's earnings. Money spilled out of her wrapper in different directions, but a hand appeared from her back and joined in the picking. Looking up, she met a friendly smile adorned with dimples and tiny pale marks. Maybe it was the niceness of the gesture or the adorable smile that made her smile back.
No words were exchanged as he handed her the money and she smiled her thanks for their smiles did the talking. Whenever he looked away, she would try to spruce her hair, adjust her blouse or wrapper. His eyes did not stray the way Kunle's did when he was talking to Simbi but they held a message in them.
They walked slowly along the path to Chika's village, arms brushing, hoping to make the first touch. While they were engrossed with silent conversation, they didn't realize that the others were waiting ahead for them. As they approached, they were all laughing, with Kunle saying something.
"Haha, Tapo, do you want to make love to her on the road?"
So his name is Tapo, she thought. Tapo smiled bashfully and she fell in love the more.
"Did somebody hear that?" Tunde, who was holding Halima's hand said.
They became silent as they could hear the sound. Not the sound of the rustling leaves but the sound of men stumping on leaves.
"Halttt!!"
The soldiers are here again. Panic set in. As quick as lightning, they threw their baskets away and ran as fast as they could. Hearts thumping and feet stomping, they tried to swallow their screams but they had no saliva to aid it. Adrenaline pumped in and they tried to run faster when the soldiers shot into the air but the path was rough, so she fell.
RAPE SETS IN
She was pulled by her blouse. One of the soldiers had gotten her. One hand grabbed her b-word beneath her blouse. She screamed as loud as she could, hoping Tapo would hear, but he covered her mouth with his hand and she bit him for his hand's smell was foul.
"Bloody woman!"- said the soldier.
He hit her so hard that she fell and hit her head on the ground. He shredded her wrapper with his bare hands and unzipped his pant.
She felt grieve in her heart as Tapo didn't turn or even look back. They did it seven times. In and out with a satisfied grunt while she couldn't utter a single word.
"They left, spitting in her face and laughing like hyenas". Their faces held such joy and they decided to leave her in the dirt with hopes that she would die.
The Night is here, flies and the mosquitoes came lurking around. She could hear the forest's silent chatter and its every moment of loneliness. Then she turned to sleep for she couldn't walk, she saw a face. Behold, "Tapo-- she shook his head sadly, dirt had caked his face, as she struggled to hold him, he fell to her lap-- He's dead, they shot him in the head."
She tried to cry but couldn't cry. She had lost the only chance and hope to love. She closed her eyes and surrendered for sleep to take over. Lo! A Hand reached for her and carried her away from the dreadful scene. It is a stranger's hand.
The soldiers are fathers with daughters today.
What would they say about rape?
Have they forgotten about their crime?
Who would punish them for their crime?
What would they do if their daughters are raped?
This was the questions asked by the daughter and
the mother replied-Absolutely NOTHING.
The "she" is your mother and that is how I met your father(the stranger).
