LAO TZU
Philosophical quote by LAO TZU, who wrote the Taoist masterpiece the 'Tao Te Ching' , he is usually regarded as, the deepest thinking and most often quoted, philosopher from ancient Chinese times.
'Lao Tzu' is not really a normal name, it is generally seen as a translation with the meaning' The Old Philosopher' he was regarded to be an older teacher of Confucius.
The quote below is from the website 'Taoistic' and is referenced from the Tao Te Ching in chapter 56, it is not my own words.
'Those who know it do not speak about it. Those who speak about it do not know it.'
The photograph below is my own and is of a 12th century national treasure Shrine, near Hiroshima in Japan.
I see these words as quite profound and especially in reference to God and the meaning of our existence.
that is really nice, one day I will visit japan :)
it is the best place - excellent food and people
