I woke up today like any other day, I sat at the edge of my mind like I'd always do but instead of getting up to go shower I found myself thinking, I was reminiscing about the good old days.

I thought about simpler times, when I was a kid and life was easy. All I had to do was eat, sleep, watch TV, and go to school ofcourse but asides that I did absolutely nothing, those were the days.

I wasn't a bad kid but I can't say I was good either, let's just say I was in the middle. But most times I was good, and I made my parents happy and proud always, just kidding! But it was most times.

I remember the screw ups I made while growing up, some were so big that I thought there's no fixing this but to my greatest surprise my parents always came to my rescue.

See! no matter what I did, my parents were always there for me, through the good and bad. They loved me no matter what and they showed it and it's that love that gave me the courage to face the world.

I knew that no matter what I had people that had my back and supported me, they aren't around anymore but I'm sure that they're still protecting me and showing me love and giving me support from beyond.
