[Steem talk] Scariest HODL in my life

I haven't been hodling anything other than my guitars at home. I have no problem with them because they have entertainment as perceive value. Even if I don't sell those guitar, I can use them. And now, my dad 1958 Höfner has officially become antique, it worth more than the combination of all my other guitars.

With Steem-engine, more new coins came out of no where and suddenly we received airdrops here an there. Sometimes I was wondering if anyone accidentally sent the wrong coins to me. From there, it leads so another questions. Shall I sell them for Steem? Or should I #hodl

I have some #sportstalk #sports coin in coming due to post I authored, currently staked more then 5000 and I can vote up to 8000 with full power.

Isn't it fascinating? It really reminds me back in the days when #steemit started business, the entire blockchain were filled with wealth.

Here, I did an upvote several hours ago, and it appears to be no #sports going out. What happen to the promised 8k vote? And then what I realize is, it will be no difference than #steem at the level of operation. They appeared to be functioning the same. The only difference is, #steem can be directly sent to exchange and you get your money back. But #sports, you'll have to exchange it back to #steemp and from there getting charged 1% for withdrawing.

See the bigger picture? I'm not saying #sport did not do a good job, but it's still way too early to decide. From what I see here, the more people start staking, the better it start to counter inflation. The amount of coin it's printing now is ridiculous. Check out the steem-engine bid and ask price difference, anytime it's around 25%. If you choose to #hodl, you'll have to pay 25% of the price to get in. If you're gonna sell, you'll have to sell almost close to a quarter of the buy price. And they're currently standing at 0.003 to sell but 0.0038 to buy. And checkout the trade book indicator

Look at where is the buyer? The green side of the book shows lopsided crazy amount of demand at 0.00001. Since there's so many crazy people trying on that price, I put in 17steemp order and see if I can fetch a million sports coin.

So, back the the scary story. If the amount you vote can be more than the amount you stake, which means there is no control over the inflation speed. Pretty soon, we will have tons of trillionaire #sportscoin people. Since there's so much printed, I'm sure some of you may want to sell partial of those coins. My question is, who is going to buy? I don't need to buy #sports, all I need to do is make a few more post and I do self upvote, I will be a whale very very soon.

I wouldn't wanna think about it too much. I'm not the FOMO guy, but I am following the rest of the party, treating it as I didn't receive any. Let's wait out for a week. If my order of 1000000 get filled, profit or not at least I get a chance to taste how it feels becomes a whale 🤣
