How Steem May Change The World By Giving The Poor Equal Opportunity!
Hi my friends,
I want to share with you some thoughts on Steem, and how it effects today and may in the future on society.
When I first joined Steem, I had created this beautiful post on how we "enslaved in the matrix"

And it got me only 6 votes worth of 0.06$ together, and about 20 views.
I thought, WTF? Such a deep thought, I invested so much time to write it in proper English, selected nice photos.
How it can be some food recipe people copy here from interned worth 100$ ???
Today of course I know much more about how Steem work, the main thing I want to focus on is the 0.06$
For me, it is like nothing, but I'm from european country - imagine some kid in Afrika, might be that money is what he makes in full working day on the field.
Now lets take more specific example,
This woman from Philippines

If you check, the avg. sallery in Philippines is 100$

It seems like with her posts she manages to do much more than that a month, with clean office work.
In afrika of course those 100$ might be half year of work, and this is crazy!!!
Steem, with other currencies mining, make in someway the world more equal-opportunity, where anyone around the world can enjoy the international currency Steem, and make profit he wouldn't imagine possible otherwise!

I agree with your assessment, a little does go a long way in other countries, and we tend to take a few cents for granted here in the USA and other western countries.
By the way, are you still having a hard time getting your posts seen and getting them to make you a decent return on investment in terms of the time and energy you put forth into making them?
