Alaska's Sunday morning walk.
It's a beauty of a day here in Littleton... I got up nice and early about 6 o'clock made me a couple cups of coffee and then it was time to take Alaska out for her morning walk ...
It's about a 3rd of a mile to where the trail begins ...
Alaska has to stop and smell everything. I wish I knew what it was she smellin because she looks like she's really having fun ...
This is a peace sign somebody painted on the sidewalk. It's obviously very old as the paint is faded. But Alaska still seems to like it ...
We walked down the path looking for some wood for @lyndsaybowes I found 3 pieces that could all be contenders..
The 1st was an old wooden bench where I thought maybe I could stop to sit down and take a break. However upon sitting I found out that this bench is also very rickety and raggedy ...
The 2nd was this board that these people were using to keep their gate closed ...
The 3rd one and my favorite is this wooden post in the ground for no apparent reason
We continued along the trail where I took a couple more pictures of random plants. I have no idea what they are but they caught my eye so I thought maybe you'd enjoy them too…
On the walk home Alaska found a previously undiscovered shortcut. A little path that ran up over the ridge and into the back of the apartments ...
Just as we get back to the apartments and I think the dragging of Dave might be over Alaska starts pulling me in another direction ...
OMG! OMG! OMG! It's another dog... We simply must go say hi...
We finally get back home and I can sit down and start to write this story. Alaska sat here and help me write it.
Until next time… have a great day.. Get out get some exercise. Peace out y'all. Dave

Discovered your story from @ocd post. I saw a husky in the photo so I just had to click on it. I love huskies. What I like about them the most is that they have this smart conscious look and sense of pride. Alaska is so beautiful too! Her encounter with another dog was cute. She must have a bit too much of energy, haha. :)
A bit of energy? I think that might be understatement of the year lol.. but yes she is super smart...
On the contrary, I wrote "a bit too much of energy". Judging by your photos she's pretty active and curious. :)
Alaska is so REGAL <3 <3 <3 I never grow tired of those photos. The close ups of those plants were really great! Thanks for this epic walk @davedickeyyall :)
Beautiful pics and a beautiful dog. Great post.
Thanks. She's quite the handful.
Awesome dog!
Man I need a dog
Cheers
Alaska is a handful.. So much energy... And she chewed my couch...
Is she an Alaskan Husky? I had one when I was young. Beautiful dog, but just wild as can be. Pretty much uncontrollable. She ran away several times and one time she never made it back. Now days I got 2 old mellow dogs. One is a Lab mix and the other a Boxer mix. They are some of the best behaved dogs I've ever seen. I'm spoiled lol! Hopefully Alaska will calm down and be more behaved as she gets older.
Yes she's a husky.. uncontrollable is about right.. she has so much energy... we're pretty good about keeping her on the leash... plus she's chipped if she runs off..
@sbd.giveaway Is this better?
