Accordingly, the Public Ganeshotsav Mandals will be able to apply online for related permissions on July 15. After getting the 'no-objection' of the traffic police and local police, the board will get proper permission from the corporation.
Instructions have been issued to make the information available to the public officials at the department level regarding the permission of public Ganeshotsav Mandals online, and to organize special training programs by the Department of Information Technology.
During this training, instructions have been issued to public Ganeshotsav Mandal for conducting the legal matters of the corporation by the Municipal Corporation. This will save the huge stress of Ganesh Mandals.

I have been in Mumbai...amazing experience at time of ganpati puja.
Two things come to my mind. Firstly, making the process online should mean a decrease in corruption from the officials, if the process is implemented correctly.
Secondly, if the permissions by the government will be released for the public on their website, it'll empower the people of Mumbai to report a pandal which does not have a permission to the officials.
Overall, correct approach on its implementation and proper use of it by the people of Mumbai will be great for this popular festival of India @dashingh
