On this day, special in all the world it is good to remember the words of Jesus to refer to the light:
Isaiah 58: 8
Then your light will rise like the dawn, and your recovery will sprout quickly; Your justice will go before you; {and} the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.

Jesus, the light of the world
Again Jesus spoke to them, saying: I am the light of the world; he who follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.
John 8:12

THE WORLD IS IN DARKNESS

a) The world and each person needs light. Because he lives and is wrapped in darkness because of his moral and spiritual condition.

b) Of sin and ignorance

Jesus is the only one capable of improving and removing the world and the people from darkness, from the spiritual situation that exists because of the sin that has grown.

HE IS THE ONLY LIGHT

He said "I Am The Light". Not one of the lights, the key is here, the Light; Therefore only He can enlighten your life whatever your situation or need.

Only Christ is the light of the world. Only in Christ is there salvation.
The Light that manifests everything

Ephesians 5: 13-15 But all things, when they are made manifest by the light, are made manifest; because light is what manifests everything. 14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. 15 See, then, diligently how you walk, not as fools but as wise, There is no excuse for the light that is Christ, because before Him everything will be exposed, there is nothing hidden that will not be manifest.
