Ulog #217: Malaysian Brewed Ginger Beer

Recently a friend of mine that owns a cafe introduced me to a locally brewed ginger beer that he was bringing in from Sabah. I tried it and I was totally hooked as the flavors were crisped and spicily refreshing as their tag line says.

I'm now supporting my friend to distribute it here in West Malaysia, particularly Kuala Lumpur and Klang Valley. We're hoping to bring this local flavor to the public and in a big way. So far sales have been progressing and this ginger beer is increasing in it's reach. Really excited to be part of this and glad to help in any way especially since it's made and produced here locally.

The ginger used for this beer is also locally grown making everything from the farming to the production all made locally. The more people support this sorta projects and products, the more the economy of the nation will be strengthen as a whole.

It doesn't have any artificial colouring or artificial flavors so it's not what most are familiar with ginger beer. This isn't those sugar pumped carbonated drinks. Not at all. You'll definitely wanna try this to really get a feel of what ginger beer can be.

It get's it's alcohol through the natural fermentation process of the ginger and lemons used. You could say it's a ginger lemonade with alcohol.
