The Unique Facts Of The Owls
The owl's eye is supported by a thin eye socket. This bird also can not muddy eyes, uniqueness of this one bird can rotate the head up to 270 degrees.
The Owl has three eyelids: one for blinking, one for sleeping, and one for keeping the eyes clean and healthy.
Owls can not see objects that are too close or nearsighted. Owls can not see clearly within a few centimeters in front of their eyes. To catch prey, Owls use filoplumes. Filoplumes are small feathers in the beak and legs that act as antennas. With this little fur the owls can see the object at low light intensity.
