Basic attention token sold out in seconds?
The sale had to be the fastest ever. If you literally were looking right at the crowdsale countdown and prepared to click send to send your ETH the sale was over before you could do that. Did one person or group of people insta-buy? Appears to be another insta-ICO situation or perhaps bots involved.
In that case buy the token on the exchanges if you think it's worth it. I also think it's time to have the discussion about what to do when a big player can simply buy 100% of the tokens for sale in a single buy and in this situation with the BAT there is every incentive for one entity to do that.
I was there at the exact moment and couldn't send it fast enough. It is getting crazy now!

Look at this, one address has over 20% of the tokens. The distribution is so skewed that they'll need to do another uncapped crowdsale to fix it because no one can determine a price on exchanges when one person has that many.
That is insane!
But but.. I thought ICO's meant EVERYONE could get in. ;-)
I didn't get in and had parity set up to send automatically on the 5th block after countdown per that guide's advice... May have been prudent to be careful, but it sure didn't work out.
I was prepared just the same. No one got in except the AI which happened to be the fastest.
Yep, I was actually watching the latest block count and right when it hit....I sent ETH to the address with a gas amount of 34000. GOT NOTHING.....I thought maybe for a second the address may have changed or possibly even I was off on the block count. Crazy.

There was so much hype about this ICO that I knew the tokens would be gone in an instant. So, I didn't even bother trying to score any.

Don't be sad, the tokens are now all worthless. No one can determine a price with the distribution looking like it does.

Yeah, this isn't much of a "crowd" for a "crowd sale" is it?
I'm sad because I thought it had great potential and now the entire project will have to deal with this "scandal" of sorts. I'm also sad, because I thought the project had some solid backers (it clearly had a lot of interest), and I would have liked to get in on the ICO.
Seems a little fishy to me!
The new model for ICOs is the AI does an instabuy for the exchanges to then distribute.

Interesting article. I was about to start a similair discussion. There's a lot of exchanges out there. I found that coinmarketcap.com gives quite a decent overview. I really advice people to take a look at: https://www.coincheckup.com This site is really helpful in my coin research. I don't know any other sites with so much indepth analysis.

just wow, I was going to go in tonight after a transfer of eth I'm waiting on from someone. Kinda glad I didn't now that they are pretty worthless. It looked so promising.
