T20I Series between NZ and India

After whitewashing NZ in the ODI series, they are facing each other for 3 T20I s. India is once again playing with youngsters under Pandya and Santner is leading the NZ team.

  • The first T20I was won by NZ. Batting first they scored 176 runs with the cracking fireworks of Conway and Daryl Mitchell. India was never comfortable in the run chase. NZ spinners took the early breakthrough and they were 15-3 and 115-7 after 16 over. Washington Sundar tried in the latter half with a 26-ball fifty, but that was never good enough. Ind ended up scoring only 155 runs for 9 wickets.

  • The second match was a low-scoring thriller. The pitch was just made for spinners with an average spin of 3.9 degrees in that match. NZ's first inning was a disaster ended up within 98 runs. Eventhough it looks like an easy target for IND at home, they couldn't score runs freely. But SKY and Pandya took a different approach according to the situation and won the match in 19.5 overs. It's funny that there was not a single six in the entire match.

England vs South Africa ODI series

We saw some really class from the South African team in this series. I think my friend, @patjewell can be proud of the boys. They have already won the series with a match to spare.

  • SA won the first ODI by 27 runs. Batting first they scored 298 runs, with a wonderful hundred from van der Dussen. Chasing the target England openers Roy and Malan took an amazing start of 146 stands within just 20 overs. But the rest couldn't carry it on. SA ballers were impressive to pull back that kind of batting lineup. They restrict them to 271/10. Nortje and Magala shared 4 & 3 wickets.

  • The second match was a high-scoring thriller. England batting first, scored 342 runs. Eventhough openers failed Brook, Butler, and Moen Ali took the score over the 300 mark. Butler ended up in 94 not out and at the end, Sam Curren displayed a little cameo of 28 off 17 balls.

  • SA had a good start of 77 runs in the run chase. Captain Bavuma replied to all the critics with a tremendous century with a 100+ strike rate. Rassie van der Dussen, Marco Jansen, Klassen, and Aiden Markram all contributed nicely with the bat and the match was at the climax in the final overs. But Miller once again took them home for a famous win. He scored unbeaten 58 runs off 37 deliveries.

We are the hope!

Whoop whoop!!! We did it and hopefully we can now qualify for the World Cup.
Bavuma, impressive. It has just proven my point, he is a 50 overs player and not a 20 overs.
My highlight of the week was the win by the India women over England and that in by town of birth. What a nice match!
India you did me proud!

Ooo yes! Bavuma is a very impressive player. It will be good, if he can focus on ODI and Tests under these circumstances. And I'm sorry about the demerit point, but I guess still you can qualify..

Ohh yes, I forgot about the under 19 world cup

And Bavuma proofed me wrong today... Almost got is 50 in the SA20 league (•ิ‿•ิ)
