My Actifit Report Card: October 26 2018 - Dog Walk And Vlog / Therapist / Terrible Night Working SkipTheDishes
Started today going for the normal dog walk down to Glenwood Meats then looped around to my vlogging trail. I had to go to the therapist and wanted to get my first video of the day out of the way. Jerry and I were out for about 35mins, in the picture above I’m thinking please don’t chase the kitty 😝.
During the vlog I wasn’t so lucky, he took off for a deer but I manage to keep my stride and finish the take before going after him.
The therapist appointment was pretty typical, she wants me working on envisioning a container so I can put any unresolved emotions in and lock them away. The container must have a valve to then let them out slowly when ready to actually deal with how I feel about it. Not completely sure how I feel about this but I have envisioned a bank vault strong enough to hold all my trauma with a selection screen and automated deposit/withdrawal system so I can select which thing to bring forward and work on. I think it’s a little elaborate but that’s how my brain works.
After that I washed the car and got ready for work doing SkipTheDishes. Working two shifts today and so far it hasn’t been particularly busy. Makes for a long night sitting in the car thus I am writing my Actifit Fitness Report a little bit early.
Lots of silliness tonight from the app not working correctly down to restaurants being backed up or just forgetting about me. Tonight is exceptionally bad with to many drivers somehow I have learned orders are still waiting forever and I’m not being matched to them in a timely manner. They updated the app so I assume it is mostly on the development side of things for the courier app. I have tried to reinstall it with no luck, the dispatcher seemed frantic when he called asking if I could check in early. I still didn’t get a delivery for over an hour after checking in early and no response from my email to the success team about the app troubles. I even sat on hold for an hour while trying to call the success team, I am pretty certain something is going haywire on their end tonight. Ahh well that’s app development trial by fire for yea.

While on the phone waiting for courier success to answer I received another message.
Now they can extend my shift without confirming with me... ohh still waiting for a delivery also 🤦♂️ wtf I have 3 shifts tomorrow er... today... as it is and I need to get up at 8am. I do not want to work till 2am ffs.
How do I checkout? I have to call courier success who is not answering!
Now I’m getting frustrated 🤬

I hope the therapy works out for you. Reading about it, I’m not sure about the container strategy either. I’ve always tried to work stuff out myself and it often means I withdraw.
Anyway, nice work getting the report done—and early!
