Realized I Can Vlog Completely From Mobile / How I Plan To Travel Vlog - @D00k13 Digest #142
What up my Steemians, welcome to the @D00k13 Digest, today I realized that my dream of travel vlogging with only a mobile device has come true! Thanks to @NathanMars and the #DTubeSnap idea I have been able to work out how to do everything including editing & uploads with only my mobile device.
I had tried previously with no luck but using Chrome and logging in with private posting key I was able to successfully upload, hint do not let your device lock or switch away from chrome while uploading 🤦♂️.
For this video I have done all of the edits with Quik in 2 parts the vlog and then the auto highlight reel demonstration as an example of the power of this free mobile app by GoPro. I then took both parts and stitched them together with Splice by GoPro as Quik does better with shorter videos since the auto highlight reel was not turning out well included with the longer vlog. I did the thumbnail with PhotoFox on my phone saving at lowest possible settings while waiting for the my iPad to upload. While waiting for the encoding I have written out this body of the text using none other then @Partiko Mobile App. Partiko allows for a larger text window and still has the built in preview but knowing DTube does not support markdown or image handling I will not use anything fancy. I will then save a copy of the body of the post into my notes.
Once all encoding is done and the hashes have shown up on the advanced tab on my iPad it is completely safe to share my thumbnail and the body of the post from my iPhone to the iPad. Copy and paste the body of the post and upload the thumbnail and smash submit.
Quick and easy guys I am so stoked!!!
This is a dream come true, thank you Nathan for leading me down the path to finding this solution! Now when I head out for my next vacation I will no longer need to bring the clunky laptop along with me. I could potentially do a DTube upload anywhere I have data no longer needing to find wifi or anything more then just my phone, mountain top travel vlog anyone?

I literally just post most of my stuff through my phone unless I'm doing a collage video.
Yea I will be also, just realized it’s possible the other day! Tried a few times previous with no luck.
Although I also enjoy the challenge of editing my clips and getting particular impact for the message with the edits, so for larger projects it will be done on the pc.
