My grandmother recently came to my house to share some "New Year's" black-eyed-peas, which my mother traditionally makes on January 1st of each year. "Happy New Year!" she announced in greeting me. "Happy Fake New Year.” I responded, in the somewhat brusque manner I am prone to adopting when other-humans spontaneously encroach upon my invisible-auric-bubble-contained formerly semi-coherent trains of thought by daring to speak in my general vicinity.

January, of course, is not the start of a new year. That is why Dec-ember is designated the 10th month by its latin prefix, Nov-ember is nominally the 9th, Oct-ober the 8th, Sept-ember the 7th, and so forth. January, then, is the 11th month, February the 12th, and March the 1st month of the New Year, when spring begins and new life emerges.

All the foregoing set aside, there is certainly a convincing personal reason for me to consider January 1st to be the beginning of a new cycle, and that is because December 31st is my natal day: one made all-the-less enjoyable than any other satisfyingly "insignificant" day selected at random from the calendar —rendered so by the irritating traditions surrounding holidays in America. But, as this article is not a manifesto regarding the various abysmal, indulgent, and stress-inducing ways humans traditionally find it fit to "celebrate," let it suffice to say that my lack of any especial enjoyment of Fake New Years' Eve corresponds inversely to my intuitive comprehension regarding the importance of the procession of natal days, thus slightly redeeming and retooling this "holy daze."

While it is apparently true that any given second, minute, hour, day or year does not present any objectively measurable difference in significance, the individual and collective humanity is ever-discovering in any given time frame their assigned meanings, which are by necessity quite intimate. Due to the base ten system of modern mathematics, we are prone to thinking of years in chunks of fives and tens, e.g. "decades." However, another highly significant divisor is 7, because of its great significance throughout the universe in energetic phenomena: notably, sound frequency "octaves" (actually a somewhat misleading term as the set of tones is really a "septave" and the first repetition of the first tone an "octave"), light spectrum (ROYGBIV—Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet) and others.

So, at the beginning of the 28th year of my terrestrial sojourn, I am poignantly aware that I am entering the last solar revolution of my fourth septave alive aboard Spaceship Earth, which will come to a close around 5 PM on December 31st, 2019. Inwardly and intuitively, I am also quite aware that this signifies the coming to a close of what I call "The Grand Experiment of Extended Childhood" and the beginning of "The Majestic Experiment of Adulthood." While many will protest that the years of the twenties do not constitute childhood, if one is brutally self-honest it becomes clear that irrespective of the taking of worldly responsibilities during this time, i.e. jobs, a spouse, a child, property ownership and management, etc. a rather childishly-oriented and ultimately somewhat selfish mental and emotional orientation is generally present during this time period for most. Thus, I include the bulk of the twenties in "extended childhood" on planet earth.

The foregoing material was necessary to transition the reader’s mind from ordinary quotidian concerns to the matter at hand, to weed out those with insufficient attention spans or interest levels to consider and absorb the following data, and to serve as a warning for those merely entertainment-seeking that the following is liable to seem quite boring, confusing, intimidating, pretentious, or plain irrelevant for many that reach this part of the document. First, the explanation of a manifestogram. Whereas a manifesto is typically concerned with a public declaration of intentions, principles, and policies to be adopted by an organization or an individual, a manifestogram is to be taken as a physical approximation of a metaphysical plan of action issued in writing. [Manifest – "bring forth" / lit. by a 'strike of the hand' {mani = hand, festus = to strike} + -gram – "something written."] A manifestogram is the written approximation of something being brought forth by the hands—representing physical action as well as mental, conceptual, emotional action through the mind, which is capable of various hand-like actions such as "grasping" truths, "holding" information in mind, "striking" upon insights, and "feeling out" ideas and concepts. In contradistinction to many manifestos whose ideological bent attempts to impose the radical correspondence of some fallacious dogma or another onto reality proper, this manifestogram swears no loyalty to any one ideological thought-constricting-paradigm but to the honest pursuit of Truth alone, and admits the fault of its asymmetrical correspondence to reality in toto, concomitant to the limitations of the expression abilities of the English language as manifested by the author of this document.

The penning of this document signifies the dawning comprehension of the near-conclusion of one significant phase of embodied existence and the inception of another, of necessity intertwined, but paradoxically novel-feeling. The focus is on dynamic forward motion—illuminated futurity rooted in the eternal present while simultaneously synthesizing and integrating all past experiences to be utilized as fodder for further expansion of the indwelling consciousness. I mean to make a very serious and thorough self-inquiry which aims to systematically uncover the personal meaning of all inter-life-entity correspondences undergone in as dispassionate a manner as possible.

This requires that I treat the person represented by the symbols "Daniel Joseph Pendergraft,” i.e. my “self,” as the prime subject of experimentation. Through the continued collecting and collating of this data, I will endeavor to discover—What are the particular idiosyncratic-tendencies-elucidating area(s) this entity is best-suited for achievement in?—with the longer term goal of discovering what unique areas of scholarship, invention and innovation are liable to be unlocked only through this specific person at this ever-evolvingly significant juncture of space and time known as the year 2019 of the Common Era.

I — All conscious thoughts and actions will be directed towards the goal of optimizing life on this planet for all its inhabitants.

To accomplish this

II — I will use whatever means are at my disposal to simplify and magnify the effectiveness of my immediate environment while mitigating the negative effects of these actions on all other parties.
III — I will compile and retrieve useful information studied in the past but weakened in memory by the passage of time and integrate this with newly acquired data.
IV — In every case, I will seek to verify personally and experientially the accuracy of information in whatever ways are practically available to me, holding the veracity of data in abeyance until such time as it can be sufficiently demonstrated and confirmed or denied.
V — I will begin with "what is directly in front of me”—the areas in which I already have the greatest working knowledge and flesh them out systematically in precise vectors towards building solutions for the most pressing human concerns that arise and remain in the intuition in a manner that only I can.

While doing so, I will avoid

VI — Falling prey to ideological ways of thinking, e.g. "isms" that block the mind's capacity to operate properly.
VII — Becoming embroiled in fruitless debates and arguments stimulated by the former as well as by other ubiquitous time-wasting traps such as PSYOPs, propaganda, enjoyably banal lower-mind entertainment forms, and divide-to-keep-conquered strategies.
VIII — Encroaching on or forming judgements of others’ manner of expressing their innate free will, including refraining from any attempt to modify others’ thoughts and beliefs except when directly requested by said others.
IX — Placing needless limitations upon the potential of self or other, which is infinite until proven otherwise.

Finally:

I will operate under the hypothesis that it is possible for all beings on this planet to live abundantly with the conversion of wartime weaponry into peacetime livingry,
that the cognitive and intuitional faculties were thus granted humans to work in conjunction to gradually bring about said conditions of abundance,
that the cosmical operation of things is inherently orderly, never chaotic when viewed through the proper lens— and that all humans are capable of wondrous and unimaginable achievements when these faculties are properly utilized and nourished.

The preceding sets out several general principles which I have arrived at and operated upon sporadically during the Experiment of Childhood. However, they were never before set out concretely in a written document and followed faithfully and systematically. It has been found to be relatively facile to fall into a regressive, unconscious manner of living, enduring the subconscious pain of the deeper-knowing that the greater mission of the self-entity was inextricably inter-cooperative with the entire mass of humanity itself. It has also been found difficult to discover what exactly it means to act and think for the benefit of humanity as a whole while not simultaneously, inefficiently martyring the self. However, it has been experienced that the more zealously one seeks to serve an exponentially increasing number of individuals (asymptotically reaching towards infinity), the more cosmic aid tends to spontaneously appear to carry one along the way. There remains, of course, the pressing and puzzling question of basic fiscal requirements to live in an elite-established, highly-manipulated, rapidly-depreciating, widely unequally-distributed system of global fiat currency.

With this obstacle in mind, the hypothesis will be adopted that enough steadfast application of the intellect and intuition towards the solving of humanity's dilemmas will result in, at the least, the funds to accomplish the necessary tasks at hand for continuing operations. What “living best with less” means needs to be discovered experientially. Being eminently aware of the deleterious minefield that is the current sociopolitical climate on planet Earth, it is necessary to comprehend quite a lot about the current visible and invisible power structures in order to avoid running afoul these organizations. Becoming deprived of physical embodiment prior to the completion of the aforestated aims would present a great inconvenience, so physical continuity will take a very high priority.
