Hello fellow steemians!

Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 150 SBD! Today you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to a continent of Australia. I am also adding a New Zealand to the same challenge as there were some concerns from other steemians to which continent will NZ go to.

Your entries need to be submitted by the midnight of Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only one picture to be submitted for a daily photo challenge. The rule number one is to use only personal images. Ten winning photos will receive an upvote from me from which I will pick one winner that will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts.

The winner of daily challenge then competes against winners from other continental challenges of the respective week to receive the price of 15 SBD. That will be decided by you based on the dollar value of upvotes of my winning post announcement. The winning weekly picture then automatically enters other rounds for the price of 150 SBD in total.

Please see the Asian Sunday winner and give him support by upvoting his winner announcement post if you like his image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge: 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday - winner announcement!

@bypaul entry post for Asian Sunday is below:

This summer I traveled through Thailand. At the end of my journey I visited the nationalpark Khao sok. It consists mainly of a huge artificial lake which was made 40 years ago. This shot was in the calm of the rising morning mist with the dead trees from 40 years ago poking through the surface of the calm water.

Yeah Australian / New Zealand Monday again:)

I want to share this beautiful picture of the Banks Peninsula south of Christchurch with you. We went "Penguin Watching", saw an yellow-eyed penguin and all in all it was one of the most gorgeous day trips during our NZ roundtrip.

What an amazing shot! Great entry!

Thanks a lot:)

This was taken at Eaglehawk Neck while we were visiting Tasmania. Great views and a quiet place. Try to visit during a fine day as there is no shelter as it is on the way to Port Arthur.

I visited New Zealand in December 2014 with my trusty canon 70D and my iphone 4s, this picture of auckland from a tourist boat with New Zealand naval flag included is a nice example for that trip.

You can see the Sky Tower it is 328 meters tall and it has been an icon of Auckland's sky line for almost 20 years.

Thank you so much for participating! Great entry. Stay tuned for the winner announcement coming soon. Tomas

This is a shot of the beautiful ocean surrounding Lady Elliot Island, an eco island sanctuary that was built to protect the thriving species in this southernmost region of Great Barrier Reef, Australia. It is literally a haven for all living things, both above and below the water :)

Location: Hervey Bay, QLD, Australia. This is a picture of the view looking back at Hervey Bay after walking on Urangan Pier, 868 metres out into the water. The Urangan Pier was built to handle cargo and was originally 1107 metres. After it closed in 1985, the length was reduced to 868 metres.
