@jpphotography Asian Sunday entry:
Temple in Surat Thani, Thailand. I recently spent a day in Surat Thani, a city in Southern Thailand. Due to monsoon season it was raining a lot, but when I visited the awesome night market, the sky cleared up and I was able to capture this beautiful sunset behind a temple.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday week #110 - winner announcement!
@davedavis91 Australian Monday entry:
Finally, I got some fresh images taken in down under this year. The probably most iconic hotspot on the east coast, White haven beach in the midst of the Whitsunday Islands of the coast of Airlie Beach. Most people hop on one of many 2D1N tours that sail you and and a group of people around the islands. A wonderful experience. We got lucky and saw it all. Whales, sharks turtles rays,... countless breathtaking encounters with the marine wildlife.
@jpphotography Tuesday of Antarctica and world's oceans entry:
Sunset in Ko Lipe, Thailand. I really enjoyed the time I spent on Ko Lipe, a small island in the Southern Andaman Sea. Especially the snorkelling off the island and the sunsets like this one from Pattaya beach were highlights of my visit.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – African Wednesday week #110 – winner announcement!
@vcclothing African Wednesday entry:
Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, we spent the day checking out the waterfalls on the Zimbabwe side. Even though there was only 20% of water that normally flows over the falls it was still amazing to see!
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - European Thursday week #110 - winner announcement!
@karma-panorama European Thursday entry:
One of the most visited tourist sites in Vienna, Schönbrunn Palace is worth a visit. the imperial family used it as a summer residence, but the Turkish invasions led to its near-destruction. It was later rebuilt to make it the Versailles of Austria. There are obvious similarities between the two palaces, especially when we go through the gardens.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – North American Friday week #110 – winner announcement!
@bigsambucca North American Friday entry:
This was our visit to Goblin Valley State Park is a state park of Utah, in the United States. It's a very strange and colorful valley you feel like your on a alien planet with all the weird mushroom shaped rounds and the thousands of hoodoos surrounding you but was a awesome experience to see.

One of many adorable colorful streets found in the picturesque Colombian town of Guatape. Located in the outskirts of the famous Colombian metropolis of Medellín, Guatape and its iconic architecture have been attracting more and more tourists and photographers from all over the world.
Panama, Boquete 2019. Hope it does count as part of South America. Boquete, the gateway to Mt Baru, highest peak of panama, probably one of the few places in the world from where you can see both the pacific ocean and the Atlantic (Caribbean). On the bottom of the volcano, however, breathtaking hiking trails lead you to hidden waterfalls, amazing rain forests and tonnes of water crawling up every inch of you clothes ;). Panama was fun!
Sunset at the Morro Lechería. Venezuela. After so many years of jogging, walking and just walking and watching the sunsets at the Morro in the upper part, last Sunday I decided to go through the back of the hill to watch the sunset from that angle. I felt great feeling the breeze and watching a lot of pelicans flying around the place.
Here we are looking out from a canopy treehouse across the beautiful cloud forests of Colombia, in Amazonas. The most awesome sunrise you can ever catch is from the top of the treeline.
Wow. I can literally hear all the noises and smell all the scents of the jungle :) Beautiful shot.
Thanks mate! It has a certain glow yes. This was actually taken a long while ago on a field trip to monitor the trees :)

This is landscape photo from Torres del Paine, South America. Ohhh I really like nature and that destination offers plenty of it. So many lakes, mountains, waterfalls, so many different colours. It is relaxing and I love watching and sharing photos from this trip.

Photo of the sculpture La Mano (The Hand). It is one of the best well known symbols of the city Punta del Este in Uruguay. You can have an idea of the dimensions of the sculpture by looking the silhouette of the man behind of one the fingers of the sculpture. It was done by the Chilean artist Mario Irarrázabal.
Jetty at Rio Paraguay
When I travelled in Paraguay in 2015, I took the Aquidaban, a small freight and passenger ship, up Rio Paraguay. For many small communities like this one, the Aquidaban is the only connection to the outside world. As soon as they saw the boat, the villagers made their way to the jetty to welcome friends and relatives arriving or departing and to make their shopping on the Aquidaban, which also serves as floating market.

Playing around with the man evolution chart in the Uyuni desert of Bolivia. I had a cool group during my trip and during one stop, we decided to have fun during the sunset. Interesting facts, the Uyuni desert is the biggest salt desert of the world with its 10 582 km2. It was pretty impressive to go thought it.
