Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - North American Friday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 SBD!
Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of North America.
See the winner of the last week´s North American Friday @brsim with the following entry:
The rainbow balls of Montreal. They decorate Sainte Catherine street with the color of the rainbow. Hurry up if you want to see them, the decoration should be dismantled in September 2019.
Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

Abu Dhabi Highlights. Obviously Dubai is much more famous by it's skyscrapers architecture and mighty Burj Khalifa as a flagman. Though Abu Dhabi (actually the most richest Emirate) has a lot enough examples of stunning sky architecture as well. And really looking like some kind of spaceships at the starting place... Shot very close to sunset on a golden hour colors with up perspective giving a lot of vertical dynamics. Enjoy the scenery and the colors!

The majestic peak in the center of the photo is Aoraki or Mt Cook, New Zealand's highest mountain. It soars into the air an impressive 12.000 feet. This picture captures the vastness of the valley surrounded by mountain ranges. I love how the yellow brownish grass contrasts with the blue skies. The empty road finishes the shot.

Sunrise over Sahara Dunes. Golden hour in the Sahara is beautiful: The light of the new day emphasises the shapes of the huge sand dunes and paints them in all kinds of yellow, orange and red tones.

The Julian alps - Slovenia. During these years of adventure on this world of ours, I've been through many challenges; cycling the Julian alps during the winter was one of the toughest. High elevations, freezing temperatures and just a tent as shelter, those days can me remembered in pictures, but the feeling of being out there will never be translatable in any form.

ColorChallenge - Purple Sunday - @karma-panorama in 7 World's Continents Photo Challenge!
Sunset shot taken in the beautiful colonial city of Campeche that is situated on the western coast of Mexico´s Yucatan Peninsula. As you can see in the photo, this location comes with some great benefit - residents and visitors of the city can enjoy breathtaking sunsets here with the sun setting right into the sea :) I took this image in a little harbor in the southern part of the city.
Even if the hike up to Angels Landing in the Zion National park is some kind of exhausting there is no question whether or not you should hike up there. The path is adventurous and the views are really breathtaking.
One of the main attractions in Ontario/New York State are surely the Niagara Falls. When seeing them on a sunny day the view can be astonishing.
The constant mist hanging over the falls, combined with the sunshine makes the rainbow visible. This photo was taken from the Ontario side, from where you have a full view on the Horseshoe falls

This is the New York-New York Hotel and Casino from Las Vegas. With one quick look, you can see all the major attractions from the real New York city with a bonus, the Big Apple Coaster that goes around with a 180-degree “heartline” twist and dive maneuver, why not!
Colonial Cathedral and Clock Tower in Trindad, Cuba
The small town of Trinidad is one of the top tourist destinations in Cuba: The city is full of colonial buildings and the whole town looks like out of a movie. I really enjoyed wandering the streets of this beautiful city!

Focus on flowers. By walking around in the Jean Drapeau park on the "Sainte Helene" island in Montreal, I came around a lot of really nice flower. I really liked the purple one even though I didn't know their name.
Stellar
This 22 degree halo is an optical phenomenon, caused when moonlight is refracted in millions of hexagonal ice crystals suspended in the atmosphere. A thin layer of Cirrus clouds up high is responsible for this stellar event which includes a small meteor. Sedona Arizona USA.
