Hello fellow Steemians!

Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 SBD! Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Australia. I am also adding New Zealand to the same challenge as there were some concerns from other Steemians as to which continent NZ belongs to.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

Please see the winner of Asian Sunday and give him your support if you like his image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for him by upvoting his winner announcement post below:

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Asian Sunday week #29 – winner announcement!

@best-trip-eva Asian Sunday entry:

Sunrise at Mt. Rinjani (3,726 meters or 12,224 ft). This is the second highest volcano in Indonesia. Mt. Agung - the highest volcano on Bali island, which recently erupted - is visible on the back-right. All three of the Gili Islands can be seen before it. On the left side in the clouds the perfect cone shape of Rinjani is visible. The picture was taken the end of August 2017 and the trekking of the volcano was the highlight of my journey in Indonesia.

Soft pre-dawn light bathes Crater Bluff with Tonduron Spire just a distant peak in the background. Taken from the Grand High Tops of the Warrumbungles after night hike to reach this spot. Lieben, on Crater Bluff, was the most difficult rock climb in Australia for many years after its first ascent by Bryden Allen and Ted Batty in 1962. Milford Sound

I took this image on our way back from Milford Sound to Queenstown, if I remember it right. The windy road along the lake just made a perfect scenery and the redish purple sky with the clouds looked fantastic. We drove for about 3 hours and just passed about 10 years. Incredible... I wish I can go back one day and explore this incredible country again.

Fabulous entry as always! Thank you so much!

I love the snaky road, it gives me the feeling of going back to NZ just to take the drive :)

From the top of Sumner hills, you can see the coast line. I decided to capture it at night while the lights were shining leaving the wood or field as dark patches. The moon was at the rendez-vous to create this magnificent view :)

Location: Christchurch, New Zealand.

I've been to ChCh, but never got a chance to visit Sumner Hills. The view is fantastic though! 😊 Is it near where the Christchurch Gondola is?

Thank you very much for the compliment :)
This photo was actually taken from the last hill before reaching Taylors mistake beach. It is a little further pass ferry made and Redcliff. If you go back to Christchurch, you should definitely go there... It's beautiful.

We used to live in Christchurch and we loved Sumner. It was where I spent my first Valentines Day with my wife, and we also hang out with friends there quite often. We love to go up Sumner Hill as well, where you can also see the town of Lyttleton on the other side of the hills. Thanks for sharing, brings back great memories!

That's right, Sumner on one side and lyttletown on the other. I really loved my time spent in Sumner, it was one of the best place I lived in even though the town was really affected by the earthquake.

What an amazing view and beautifully looking sky! Thank you for that. Tomas

Thank you for the compliment Tomas, this night the stars were shining on Earth rather than in the sky :)
Sumner is such a fantastic place!

This beautiful view is from the "neck" lookout on Bruny Island, Tasmania. The neck is a small strip of land dividing the northern from the southern part of Bruny Island which is known for its stunning nature.

Fantastic entry. Glad to see you participating more frequently as of lately:)... Have a great day. Tomas

Thanks Tomas! We managed to get a huge delegation for @travelfeed last week so the number of submissions is skyrocketing at the moment and so is the time needed for curation, but in a few days we will put our optimised curation system in place so I hope to be able to submit to your photo contests every day again soon :)

On my first visit to New Zealand I spent a night in downtown Auckland. Early in the morning I made my way to a bridge from where I could overlook the skyline and some interesting intersections below. With a longtime exposure I could create a nice effect for the photo

What an amazing shot. I just love it!

Last year I went to New Zealand. Mount Cook had just had a bout of snowfall the day before I arrived. This was perfect for me as I was trekking on a crisp layer of fresh snow among the amazing snowy mountains.

What an amazing shot! Thank you so much for your contribution. Tomas

Thanks for your appreciation.

The marvelleous green rolling hills of Coromandel Peninsula in North Island, New Zealand. After visiting the dramatic South Island, I was convinced that the North Island could not compete with it and that it would disappoint. How wrong I was! The North Island may not be as wild and pristine, yet it has an incredible charm and diversity in natural landscapes, that you can't help but fall in love with it and want to move there immediately!

There's always some sort of "competition" between the North and the South Island. But really, both are beautiful! 💓 Never got a chance to visit Coromandel, but kind of near to where I was before - in Hamilton. But I heard Coromandel got the best views of the coast, and seafood, too!

Yes you are so right! I truly enjoyed both of them! How lucky you lived there

What a beautiful image! Thank you kindly for sharing it with all of us through the contest. Well done!

Camping in Australia is always a blessing. You get filled by peace, like nowhere else.
This is at North Stradbroke Island, taken couple of days ago.

Better late than never.
This is Jervis Bay on the NSW South Coast on a cold grey morning. Absolutely love the colours of the water down here. It's amazing colour is thanks to it's pearly white sandy beaches.

I am very glad you did enter! It would be shame not having this amazing image entering the contest. Simply magnificent!

On an early spring morning on the northern coast of New South Wales in Australia I came across a unique coastal rock formation that turned out to be a great place for playing with long exposures.

Wow! Just stunning, not much else to say!
