Please see the winner of the last week´s African Wednesday @elkezaksek with the following entry:

Africa is a beautiful and exciting continent. At the same time, hunger and poverty still prevail in many countries. Many children are malnourished and are not allowed to go to school. Health care is often inadequate or non-existent, and mortality is high. We should be thankful for our good life!

Tanneries in Fez, Morocco

The tanneries in Fez are smelly, but a highlight when visiting the medieval old town. Watch the process of producing leather from animal skin and enjoy the views over the dying pots.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.

The Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania really is like the garden of Eden for animals. This crater is full of wildlife, as we entered the crater we were greeted by these wildebeest. This crater is a must see when visiting Tanzania!

On my African safari tour there where to animals that i enjoyed photographing and that was the majestic Elephants and the African leopards the big graceful and powerful big cats just everything about them was so surreal there style there movements was just a joy to see. The African leopard vary greatly in size and color depending on the location and habitat. Its color ranges from pale yellow to deep gold or tawny.

While in Egypt exploring the Great Pyramids of Giza in Cairo, Egypt which are the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza pyramids at present day and the only ones in the world that are still fully intact , well we couldn't leave Cairo without my girlfriend having a photo with her friendly Camel one to remember :))

Hiking to the top of mount Moses, Egypt was quite an experience. In complete darkness, with camels and horses going by, not knowing where your foot will end up... The view at the top was superbe as the sun say Hi at the right time.

This lovely cat is known by names Caracal or also Lynx. It is far less known as other African big cats. Photo is from South African Republic and pose tells that animal is too confortable to be wild. We were visiting Endomeni cheetah guest farm wher you can see a lot of cute cats like this Caracal.
