We Can Stand to Learn from Weeds

Hey Guys, wanted to share an interesting observation I made one day while in my rock garden. It's not something most of us pay attention to, and that's weeds. They're everywhere and occur so naturally no one thinks twice about them, right?

But, this day it actually made me reflect. We had laid down black sheeting, rocks and weed killer in order to contain the weeds growing in our rock garden. But, they still continued to grow!

Better yet, weeds have WEAK roots. They're flimsy, and can be pulled out with almost no effort. Yet, they somehow still break through all these barrier we put in place to keep them from growing.

My point? Why aren't people like weeds? We set up all these mental blocks, and listen to other people's opinions of us, and we stunt our own growth! Are we not better than weeds? We should be able to grow and flourish no matter what.
