In spirit of Curie's transparency, we wish to use this weekly section as an ongoing development blog on our project to communicate our progress on top of the many casual exchanges happening in channel #curie.

  • For those new to Curie, please follow @curie, and join us in #curie on Steemit.chat.
  • We invite curators to submit posts from new authors in #curie on Steemit.chat. A finder's fee of 8 Steem is available for each upvoted post.
  • Follow @curie's votes to support the authors. Please consider following our trail and voting for curated authors. If you are a Streemian user, @curie is an available trail to follow.
  • Curie continues its focus on supporting new authors. Semi-established authors are supported by Steem Guild.
  • Remember to follow and interact with authors that you love whenever going through The Daily Curie.

Weekly Statistics

Over the last week, Project Curie curated a total of 531 posts at an average of 76 posts per day. A total of 375 unique authors were rewarded. The numbers are higher this week due to higher curation activity during the weekdays.

SBD 7,132 was generated at an average of SBD 13 per post. The numbers are slightly higher this week, again due to curation activity and also a higher price of Steem.

An entirely fresh list of great authors this week! Some of these authors will soon be passed over to be possibly curated by Steem Guild in the near future.

We upvoted 180 posts submitted by curators in #curie, with 1,440 STEEM paid out / pending payouts to curators. These numbers are almost 40% down from our New Year edition of The Weekly Curie, due to tighter guidelines and limitations imposed by a limited budget.

This has caused the "middle-class" of community curators to disintegrate as we have started to limit submissions per user, according to display of consistency in quality of curation. With that, please take note that the ladder will not be a great representation of quality curators, although they have from time-to-time shown quality curation, following a set of guidelines (that may be too much for some, which is why we're planning to automate guideline-checking as much as possible).

And again, @fubar-bdhr is back as the top finder this week! The runner-ups are:-

We will try to remove some limitations for consistent finders soon enough.

Note to finders: Finders not observing the submission guidelines will be disqualified

Note: All author rewards from this post will be used to fund Curie.
