Bubble Popping, EOS Ram is falling
As all the EOS fans out there probably know that the price of ram for EOS has gotten out of hand. The price is up over 1000 percent in a little over a week. This is actually becoming a problem for EOS as it is now more expensive to do an airdrop on EOS then Ethereum. Being cheaper than Ethereum was one of EOS's biggest selling points.
I have not even looked into buying some so keep that in mind when i make this comparison, looking at these 2 charts below the price of ram is almost exactly like the Bitcoin price explosion we have seen over the last 9 months or so. To me it looks like the classic bubble pop. Bubbles tend to all look the same no matter what assets class its in because humans act the same every time, we are driven by emotions.
I wouldn't me making any investments in ram now to me even from the start it looked like it was just gambling, sure these people who invested early in ram have made a killing but if then continue to trade in a gambling way they will lose out in the long run.

I hadn’t heard of RAM trading until yesterday - but 1000% in just over a week is absolutely crazy!!!
its actually alot more then 1000% it was like 4000% haha. ram trading was made to counter EOS inflation because its only tradable in EOS and has a 1percent fee. if ram doesnt drop in price its not going to be very good for eos
I watched a bit of Dan in the live zoom meeting the other day talking about it. He sees it as a good indication of future demand, and says EOS is still a lot cheaper than ethereum because there are no fees.
yeah in the long run its cheaper then ethereum, the price has dropped abit now so probably cheaper to do an air drop too. hope he is right about all the demand :)
