Abstract Art of Sharon AttawaysteemCreated with Sketch.

I love creating abstract art with colored resin. I have been creating resin art for about 3 years now. Even though I still like painting portraits and still life, the abstract resin art has become my favorite. There is a curing process with this type of creation, which takes working in temperatures of 75 degrees or higher. I recently moved and don't have a home studio now. So, I am looking for a studio outside of my home that will fit the conditions I need. I had planned to use my garage as a studio, but I live in Maryland, and it is cold right now in winter months. This means I won't be able to work with resin right now. If I make resin paintings during cold conditions, the resin won't cure and it will stay sticky without curing to make a hard surface. The process I use is not painting and pouring the resin over the painting. Instead, I mix the colors in the resin and pour different colors on the surface to make a configuration that I like. I will post different paintings I have done so far. Then when I find my 75 degrees studio, I will create more.

I love the brilliant colors that are captured with resin art.
This first painting is called Black Rose because that is the image I think of when looking at this painting. What do you see?
