Sodium Pump Is Quite A Peeve For Me

I myself is does not like to eat salty foods, it is because that my mother had already trained my tongue many years ago not to eat fods with salt as in bland and boiled, steamed, and not tasty. It is because that my mother believed that if I do not incorporate salt in my diet it will be good for me. And me being not aware and naive about it believed her and so I went to not eating lots of foods in my life, I have missed it all during those times and got restricted in eating foods that are normally prepared.

Now at dialysis when the patients crash their BP the nurses would set the sodium pump to high and it happens to me all the time which is why I hated it because after dialysis I would feel so thirsty and so it is inevitable that I would drink until I quenched my thirst considering that am already full of fluids after dialysis session.

You Can Never See Me Eating Junk Foods, It Is Too Salty For Me

Then it also irritates me when the nurses would tell me not to eat salty foods when they themselves would pump our bodies with sodium. Where did the sodium or salt comes from? In every back of the dialysis machine there is a salt solution there where it uses when the nurses would set to pump it to the patient's body in order to elevate the blood pressure.

And so because of that I could not maintain my normal BP so it frustrated me a lot since my BP then was just normal but because my nurses now have a different standard about blood pressure I couldn't maintain my normal low BP so it just remained high because of the NSS infusions and my major pet peeve at dialysis which is that sodium pump settings which is often turned "high".

It Is Great That The Nurses Aren't Fiddling Around y Dialysis Machine's Sodium Pump So I won't Get Thirsty Anymore

But now that the nurses would set the dialysis setting one time only and not fiddle anymore with that sodium pump even if my BP goes down because of the waiver and stupid agreement that I had made with the head nurse I would now come home with far more lower sodium levels and because of that I am no longer going home after dialysis so thirsty and that is the good new about my dialysis today which had made me feel better with my well-being and wellness.

Now I will just try to eat more at dialysis since I am on a relatively fast 250 mL per minute blood pump so that my sodium levels would not go much lower. The dialysis would take the extra salt and I could even feel it after my session because I am not feeling so overly thirsty anymore. Now I liked my dialysis treatment because no more nurses setting that annoying sodium pump anymore which will leave me feeling much better after my session.
