The Reason I Only Eat Twice A day

I just had this breakfast today, it was made nutritious because of the egg otherwise it would just be carbohydrates and will nit be much of a meal. I got bored now to the taste of stir-fried noodles so I just thought of having rice gruel instead.

Ad you can see it isn't much of a serving because my mother only bought it from our neighbor a few houses away. It costs a little more than 20 cents in dollars so it is in it self quite expensive because the serving size really won't be enough for a grown man.

It is not that salty but it is better for me not to have this one because of its water content plus the salt that will just make me thirsty. The weather today is not good enough to make me rid of extra salt via perspiration or sweating because it is cold enough not to make me sweat so I just really have to look-out for my diet.

I most eat twice a day for two reasons, one is that I have appetite issues that is an adverse effect of my Parathyroid medicine which I am battling through more than a year now and it really sucks because I couldn't enjoy food if not for my dialysis moments where I can eat normally again as it bring my appetite back.

I just hope that in the future that my health insurance would allocate more than 90 sessions per year so that I could enjoy more dialysis per week and could raise my level of wellness between dialysis.

The other reason that I am just eating twice a day is because I have to limit my phosphate/phosphorus intake so I just have to eat less because my phosphate binder is expensive and if I would eat frequently then those phosphate binder tablets would get consumed fast and I couldn't afford to consume them faster.

Part of the reason is that I also had a small capacity now to intake fluids as it makes me breathless, so eating less would mean consuming less fluids which can help me not to be overloaded with much fluids before my dialysis.
