My hair is like three weak-handed monkeys fought over it and I'm embarrassed to visit a Barber
My hair is a bit of long now, it always look unkept even though mother would put some oil in it so it would drop. When she puts oil in it she would only put unto some of the outer parts so the inside will surely fly around at a blow of light breeze.
The fact that I always lay down on my bed messes it all the time, so overall I look like some bomb blew up nearby and I am one of the casualties. I am already tired of the bald look all the time too which is why I left my hair grew a bit long.
My brethren would not approve of this, it is not allowed for men to wear a long hair in my church. I might ask my mother to cut the back part because I have a plan to use some grease and then have a brushed-up look. I do not want to go to the barber because I am truly embarrassed about my appearance, people will just gather up to look at me.
A brushed up look was the favorite of mine as a hairstyle, I was using a hair oil for that purpose during my high school years, I must say it is really a very good hairstyle because not much people are seen with that style here in my place and it does look elegant and neat.
Too bad I do not have a handsome face to pair with it so I will have to contend with my current look of wearing a facemask. I really hate the bald look because of the scars on my scalp, a few little ones at the back area and one big gash on top when it got caught at the corner of the window guard/grill of our house when I was being chased by my brother because of a dispute, I had stitches that day and now it produced an ugly scar.
For now maybe I will have to use more of mineral (baby oil) that my mother was using for her and my hair. I will have to look for a pomade too for that reason or what I could come up so I can get the brushed-up look like my hair was licked by a cow but the nape side trimmed too so it would not fly away. I know that it will not a point for my non-existent attractiveness but I like my hair to look that way from now on.
It's a literal bad hair day always.

A sight to behold that don't want to see.
I've been watching some what they call "preppers", these are individuals or community that has been basically preparing for uneventful things like the system of government worldwide fails because of some catastrophic events from mother nature related to nuclear holocaust.
That is why they are trying or had been preparing to make a shelter that will keep them safe like a fortified bunker complete with stocks of non-perishable food, survival tools, while maybe educating themselves in survival for the short and long-term with trainings, where or how to make food, arms training, and all that so that they will survive longer.
But the thing is that even if you had prepared for 20-30 years inside a bunker and your food lasted that long, you did survived but the world above is still poisoned by radioactivity which would last for thousands of years, how would that long 20-30 years or so be like to you.
Sure you had made yourself alive but most of your friends, neighbors, relatives, and even immediate family members are gone, some had passed immediately after the 1st few hours of nuclear strike and then died months or a few years later that along with billions of people around the world following the nuclear winter.
We will gonna glow like Tron.
After the nuclear strikes most of the European countries will glow in radiation, USA included, and of course Russia along with the major cities of their allies my country included. The blasts will create a blanket of radioactive particles or clouds enough to blot-out the sun not in weeks, months, but a few years. Definitely crops would not grow well if they manage to grow in an already radioactive soils and bodies of water.
So crops would fail leading to famine and thus killing more people and animals in the planet. This secondary effect is in conjunction of the nuclear winter where global temperatures go to freezing point, it will change the ecology and those that are living in the tropics will most probably not cope in the temperatures alone considering that everyone has cancer, weak, and starving.
We could be in the precipice of unthinkable things to come and it might happen in our lifetime. It is of course a wise thing to prepare but you can only do much as we are always affected by time and resources, both of which we cannot really afford because of the lasting effects of nuclear holocaust.
Many people are not aware nor they would like to care because it does sound like a movie, a fantasy that only happens in Hollywood films or sci-fi books. I myself really do not know what to do, it will be funny that I will not die being a dialysis patient but the effects of this rumors of not only war but a nuclear type of war. We can prepare but it will just buy us a relatively little time and if not much people around anymore I guess it is just better to rest eternally than to suffer being alone with a good chance of getting cancer.
We should be... this time around.
