It Is Another 4:30 AM Dialysis Schedule For Tomorrow

I got notified this afternoon whilst taking a bath by my nurses telling me that I have an early dialysis schedule tomorrow. That is ok though because we get to go home early too. I have gotten used to that wee hour of the morning schedule and in effect I might recover about the residual effect of the Caffeine pills that I had been taking before I get to sleep at night time later on.

It is also good that I am taking Gabapentin to offset the stimulation effect of Gabapentin so that my body could relax and not feel jittery. Anyway the dialysis process takes away most of the Caffeine in my system so I am confident that I will suffer an over stimulation or overdose of Caffeine for that matter.

Again I may have to add another dose of Caffeine that I am taking and would make it around 900 mg again because I will be using a new dialyzer plus I will restart using a blood thinner that is called a "Heparin" to make my blood pass through easily the dialysis membranes of the filter (dialyzer) which in effect will provide me a better quality clean action rather than having to use the flushing technique which I think is not good since blood always builds upp on the entrance of the dialyzer making my dialysis treatment as efficient as it should be.

As for my schedule I really do not care much what time I would get hooked-up, it is just my parents are old and are not in favor of a later schedule because it affects their sleep especially my mother who really goes to bed early even when we are still very young where we are already in bed even when there is still daylight as my mother told us after my father went away abroad to work.

My father in the other hand gets trouble driving at night because of his vision and the fact that it was past his bed time too. So we just have to be scheduled not so late because of my aging parents. The only downside for me about a very early schedule is that I do not have much option for a meal to buy when hooked-up and will just have to contend with the usual meal of what I am buying always from the convenient store near the dialysis center.
