I Thought I Would Spend Christmas At My Dialysis Center

I did what I planned at dialysis today and took a whopping 964 mg or so approximately in total of Caffeine from both Caffeine pills and energy drinks just for me to survive the session because if you are following my neverending story about my blood pressure issue during my dialysis that I am trying to complete my session and for that to happen I have to take Caffeine pills so that my BP would stabilize and not crash like a meteor.

I did finished my session but my BP remained low although I am not complaining of dizziness associated with it my nurses would not like to send me home until my BP climbed to 120 Systolic. They held me at the center for quite a bit of a long time but still my blood pressure would not rise-up. I already had taken some candy and softdrinks and it would not respond.

Finally after maybe a couple of hours waiting for my BP to go up my Renal nurses agreed to let me write another waiver stating that the hospital and my renal nurses will not be not held accountable or liable for any complications even though they would discharge me with my BP at a low of 100 Systolic. They should have allowed me to do that waiver from the start though so I won't wait for so long inside the dialysis center considering that I am not only the one waiting but also my father.

I happily wrote the waiver myself because it means that I will be discharged from the dialysis center finally. So me and my father went home after that and that instance made me worried a bit that my renal nurses would not really let me go home but instead hold me and maybe put me in the E.R. because my BP would not go up despite that I am feeling fine already and the fact that I nearly had taken about 1000 mg of Caffeine.

My mother actually went home after she brought me my dialysis meal so that she can be able to cook the dishes that we will be sharing today at her birthday celebration. So I thank God for this day and once again I did completed my dialysis session.
