I Survived My Dialysis Today By Being Able To Complete It With Some Caffeine Pills

I am still in a flushing technique, the process that the dialysis center does when the patient could not yet or unable to use Heparin, the blood thinner for some reason and another. My appendectomy operation was done last January 5th but they are still not using Heparin on me because of their reason of an internal bleeding due to my Appendectomy. That is really too overly careful by my doctor or Nephrologist not knowing that I am already okay and already well-healed.

This flushing technique messes with the amount of fluids that I wanted to be taken out from my body as these nurses are not adding to the amount that they have to take-out with the amount of fluids that they are using for flushing. So now I ended-up going home .6 Kg heavier than I supposed to come home with and it is just a peeve to me since these nurses I think knows basic Math calculation but is not using their brains sometimes SMH.

Anyway I also had adjusted down my Caffeine pills with only about 700 mg now instead of 964 mg. I deducted one 200 mg pill and I do not drink extra energy drink anymore which in itself contains about 64 mg or so plus sugars in that 150 mL bottle. The Caffeine dose now sufficed on what I needed but I am still not sure about it.

But before I was able to finish my dialysis treatment I noticed that my heart mellowed down a bit with its palpitation which meant that most of the Caffeine in my system was washed-out. I will soon learn if it was the case if I am able to sleep tonight but if not then either my dialyzer was already bad or the Caffeine really cannot be washed-out completely maybe due to a relatively slower blood pump that the dialysis machine was set-up to.

I still regret in using a Caffeine pill/capsule though because it is bad for my Calcium absorption but I am really needing it otherwise I would over and over suffer from the uncompleted dialysis sessions that often make me leave the dialysis center still heavy and in turn would make me catch my breath before my next session.

That is why I just devised a way for me to at least survive the first 3 hours while hooked-up so that I could go home a bit satisfactorily cleaned with my blood and adequately taken out with water/ fluids from my body. If I would not do that I will be like the other patients that are pot-bellied and have a high blood pressure before and after their dialysis session.

Again I just thank God about this day in my life, another day that my life was bridged-out to see maybe another light of the morrow. it is a struggle to live but I am appreciative for the people that loves me online and offline because without you all I am no more many years ago.
