My Blood Pressure Crashing Issue Is A Hit And Miss Event

Some say that if you don't eat before dialysis you will gonna have a crashing BP so they encourage people to eat before the dialysis session. Some just eats while being dialyzed for the same reason of not to get a crashing blood pressure. But either or both of the two I am doing but still my BP crashes almost each and every time so I really do not know what to do now.

But my plan is to eat as heavily as I can prior for my dialysis because I think it is better that way than going with an empty stomach. I might as well drink coffee so that at least it would help about my BP. I really could not figure out why my BP is crashing. Maybe that my heart is already weak, but it would show with my heartbeat if my heart has some kind of disorder already but I could not feel any type of arrhythmia yet.

I Will Try To Eat Much Prior For My Dialysis But I Am Not So Sure If It Would Work

The cause could well be the efficiency of my dialyzer. The type of dialyzer that I use is called a Highflux dialyzer, it means that it has bigger holes for other big molecule toxins to pass through easily and it does cleans well compared to the common type that they use which do think is not good because it really doesn't clean well the blood. So a very efficient dialyzer could be the cause.

If it is the cause then I cannot do anything about it because I needed a highflux dialyzer because of the cleaning quality that I get from it. I could not afford to revert back to the common type for the said reason, it doesn't take off much of urea-nitrogen from my blood so I get these urea breath which is prevalent when I was using it in my past years and it is really an awful thing to have so I always do not speak around because I could smell my breath and it is nauseous. After using a highflux dialyzer that issue got resolved.

Then some say that eating while hooked-up at dialysis also is the cause of crashing BP because they say that when you eat the blood goes to the digestive system so you just get light-headed easily. It is contradicting that when you eat your heart would get stimulated because of extra sodium, water, and other nutrients that could influence your BP to shoot up. It is just confusing me having to factor it all.

But I guess that if you have some food already in your guts that is sustaining your blood with nutrients could help you stabilize your BP because dialysis just cleans out water, toxins, as well as nutrients that is needed by the body. So if you are being "fed" with your guts then it is a good thing rather than again having an empty stomach prior for the dialysis session.

The Reason Could Well Be That I Am Dehydrated Already halfway During My Session

Actually after maybe three hours after being hooked-up and some water had been drawn out already my fingers are starting to wrinkle like raisins and could be the reason that I am already dehydrated casing my BP to crash. But I am breathless still which is a paradox to me because I believe due to my breathlessness issue and the pressure that I feel inside my makes me say that I am not dehydrated.

I am still wanting to find-out the magic bullet for my BP crash issue and I am actually had ran out of options already except to just simply eat and that is what I would do especially with some stimulants like coffee although I think it will help a little but maybe better than nothing at all. So I am just relying on prayers and the mercy of God to help me so that I could finish my session gracefully.
