Dear Diary: When Will I Cook Again?
Cooking is one of my greatest frustrations in my life now because with my disabilities and pain involved and I cannot even look down with my head as my chin have grown in an ugly way along with my neck which had gone short and that made me have a hard time doing things which you have to look down like slicing food and such.
I do love cooking but my body now hates most of the things that I am doing before. If I hadn't been sick I could see myself to much fatter than my eldest sibling because what I cook most of the time I also enjoy eating it afterwards.

Cooking is really not for everyone as some people can never really learn how to do it correctly. I myself have took many years before perfecting that special craft and it really took a lot of trial-and-error to make the foods that I cook get the best taste for my own standards.
Sometimes I am thinking of cooking here at my bedside because I could not walk to our kitchen/dining area to slice, wash, and organize things up to be cooked. I forgot the last meal that I did cooked already but there was this meal I cooked before where I have to head to my bed four times because my back is killing me already.

But I think cooking is as possible as my needed punch-to-the-moon surgeries. So I am just ready to accept that I can never ever cook again but maybe the bedside cooking is possible but then again I have no appetite to eat though and that makes it funny, cooking foods and you do not have the ability to enjoy them, it is a sad fact in my life.

It is hard to say that I am fine but I am happy that there are friends like you that supports me and at least I know that I am not alone with all these struggles in my life sir @streetstyle :)

Never say never. I really believe one day You will be able to get all the money you need for the surgeries you have to do to improve your life quality and also be back in the kitchen cooking 😉 keep the faith and working hard. I believe it will happen 😁

I do like to cook for myself. I like to make things the right amount of spicy! I am hoping that one day you will be back in the kitchen!!!

totally sucks that simple thing liek cooking have become such a burden while they can be so enjoyable...
