Dear Diary: We Got Home A Bit Late Because Of My BP Again

I got hooked up for my dialysis at almost 6:00 AM exactly today and I was expecting that my blood pressure would go down and go down it went. It is because I wasn't able to eat prior so the inevitable happened. So two hours after getting hooked-up my BP is already at 100 levels although I still feel fine at that point.

The good this was that I felt the cleaning action of the dialysis and it always amazes me when it does. It is an inexplicable feeling similar to having a fast with water only to take. So it just gives me a good sense of well-being and I am able to eat at least especially if the food is good.

The nurses upon reading my BP just had done their mitigating procedures i.e. infusing NSS or sodium saline solution and had cut maybe 200 mL of what supposed to be drawn out from my body. They also pump my system with sodium and that made me awfully thirsty.

I was able to end my dialysis anyhow but my BP still was 100/60 so I just have to wait for it to stabilize again for maybe ore than half an hour or so. It is hard to wait in dialysis because I am not comfortable sitting in there. If only I can lay down on a bed somewhere and I am online then it would be nice. But I just have to sit in that new uncomfortable chair that the hospital had bought and I do not like it.

But nonetheless I am thankful to God and grateful also because my body had a good cleaning and it somehow saved me by the bell again about in the 1174th time. Glory be to God.
