Dear Diary: Pineapple Sorbet Anyone?
I've been supplementing my diet with pineapple juice because fresh fruits that I liked are hard to come by and if they do I do not get the choiced picks like the watermelon that I love to eat.
Pineapple juice I know has a lot of potassium that is bad for my heart because it might stop it to beat if the amount in my body is too high. But I am drinking this regularly and it hasn't stopped my heart yet so I think it is safe to consume it.
I might be drinking about half a liter of this everyday and I just alternate it with purified water, ice cold because cold drinks refreshes me better. Meanwhile I also drink coffee if I needed to perk up and right now no more than a cup each day.
I am just happy that I can do now without coffee because I am not addicted to it. I just quite coffee because it affects e sleep and I was getting those sleep and waking up with a racing heart and after I quit it and switched to pineapple juice my sleep quality had become better.
I know that pineapple juice has a lot of sugar but my body needs much calories so that I won't shed much weight anymore since I am suffering from appetite-loss. Well I hope that I can graduate from taking my parathyroid medicine soon as soon as I get that Parathyroidectomy surgery.
Meanwhile I will just enjoy my pineapple sorbet, truly a much better alternative than ice cream which makes me fart a whole lot. I just hate my genetic heritage but it is what it is.
