Dear Diary: My Mother Went To The Town Hall To Get My Financial Assistance The She Requested
The Town Mayor's secretary had sent a text message to my mother today saying that my mother can now go to the Mayor's office to get the financial assistance the she had requested for my dialysis treatment this month. The amount is not much but just enough to pay for the doctor's fees that we pay fro each treatment or for paying for my dialyzer which I will also have to replace this month.
I am just glad that there are assistance that is coming from the government that we can use to support my medical needs but we just have to apply for it and submit necessary documents so that we can avail on what they have to offer especially from the charity sweepstakes office where there are lots of funds coming from their lottery games.
I had a lot of experience from asking for assistance and it is sometimes depressing because it is a kind of pan-handling but I am helpless because I have no job or trades to use to support myself. Now I am just glad that steemit is here now and can patch-up my needs.
Now I am just feeling safe and secured that even though I could not walk anymore and much disabled than I was before at least now I will no longer have to pan-handle and this just made me and my parents and my siblings happy.
@cryptopie I am so glad that you can get this assistance from the government, we are all here with you and you have been in our prayers. Can they do anything to help you walk easier, like a walker.....
I have a set of crutches but I prefer to use the wheelchair because I get so breathless in walking @silvertop
I am very thankful that you have your parents to help you, and it sounds like your entire family sticks together. My family is so split up, ( different locations ) if I needed any assistance I would be on my own... except for my wife.....
