Dear Diary: I took Gabapentin Just To Appease My Body Pains And Makes Me Feel Relaxed
I have some 600 mg Gabapentin tablets which I make my mother divide into three because it is quite strong for me to take if I would take it whole while if it is possible to divide it into four that will be fine and more economical for me to take as well.
I started taking Gabapentin after researching about the cure for that restless legs syndrome which made my life very difficult while my nurses and doctors are really not caring about that condition of mine before. So I was able to acquire and upon taking it a few minutes later my RLS just went away.
The good thing is that Gabapentin relaxes my body and takes off some of my body pains. It also induces sleep and will give you a quality sleep too. I also have a mild epilepsy so Gabapentin just helps me with all of those body issues.
It is truly a multiple bird with one stone so it works well for my well-being and overall health. Also, the good thing is that I do not have to take it everyday because I am a dialysis patient and that medicine stays in my system until I get dialyzed. So in that way I do not have to pay frequently and it is economical.
I really do not want to take much medicines, in fact I am not taking a hypertension medication at all because it affects me dialysis but sometimes there are instances that I have to take some because of the valuable effects that it does to m body.
@cryptopie - I have heard of gabapentin as a use for RLS. I sometimes have symptoms as well, but have never tried it. I'm a diabetic, so things don't always react well together. I'm glad it's giving you relief with the added bonus of helping you to sleep. Every little bit of relief you can get is a blessing!
Hi @blueeyes8960 I am sorry about your condition and I know it is hard. Gabapentin healed me but if your doctor say you can have it to treat your RLS then it would be grreat because RLS is really hard to handle, it will definitely stress you out.

Gabapentin recently became a controlled substance in the US. It has multiple uses, though.
