Dear Diary: I Thought That I Was Going To Earn EOS With Their Supposed Social Media Site
It is quite a cock block I should say because I was poised to really sign-up with the overly hyped EOS social media and I thought that it was as they say "Steemit killa" but what did they revealed? A Twitter-like site that will let you earn a Voice tokens that you can earn if someone gives it to you from their own pockets if they want your post to get more exposure.
But the voice tokens cannot be bought or sold so what is the use. I do not know if that would get a good reception because most investors thought that they could get an upperhand if they buy EOS and use it to an expected steemit-like social media.
It would be better if they had done another steemit-like site with the users given an ability to earn EOS tokens. But nothing like that happened but instead they just revealed a voice token that can just be used inside the voice site and nothing more.
Dan Larimer said that one can earn a basic income by just logging in and using the voice site. But how can it be an income if we cannot sell voice tokens? Maybe they have a plan to make users get the ability to sell, buy, trade the voice token in the future?
I have no clue if what EOS is planning but I will be ready if another opportunity to earn some tokens from a social media will happen in the future so for the meanwhile steem platform is the king of rewarded social media comparable to none.

Can one liquidate out his WEKU tokens? Any exchanges that accept it?
Yes, it trades on openledger dex. I post only on Steemit as my main and twice a day on weku.
But I can't find WEKU tokens among the listed crypto here at https://openledger.io/dashboard

I have a feeling that what will happen is that as soon as people start to earn VOICE tokens on the platform, that there will be an internal market (or an EOS DEX) that will begin trading the tokens. The only tokens available for sale will be the ones that people who earned them are willing to sell.
This means that their will not be any whales initially. Now maybe a year from now someone with whale-type money could come in and scoop up a ton of tokens for sale, BUT they would have to pay a premium price to get them. It will not be like right now when whales have scooped up a ton for cheap in a pre-mine or pre-sale, way before the general public knew about the project.
